Well located for town and the Tukituki River Cycle Trail.
An older park, well presented, clean and tidy. Adequate facilities. Could do with a BBQ. A friendly permanent population.

This place was a a dive.
A shambles. The TV wouldnt even work. When I asked for help I was told to just 'wait'. The $4 clothes dryer didn't even dry my clothes and the internet connection is diabolical.
Rude cleaning staff and the owner operator is an absolute grouch. We so regret wasting out $ here.
Stay away!!!!

There are new friendly owners and they have redecorated the cabins and showers.
Good place for camping too. There are good supermarkets in walking distance.

Stayed in room with TV, well stocked mini kitchen and fridge.
Great bathroom facilities. Owners friendly and went out of their way to accommodate children with an extra bed. Trampoline fantastic for them. Was the big draw card. Can't wait to stay again.

My husband two well behaved children and I stayed at this place we booked it for 7 days first night was horrible no TV at all and when we told her she didn't fix the problem and tried blaming the issue
on us :( next day she began to say nasty things towards us and be very rude when we did nothing at all literally nothing we kept to tidy cleaned up after ourselves and our kids were very respectful once I confronted her and said I can see you have issues with people who have children she didn't deny it so I kindly said I'd like a refund and we will be moving on she wouldn't give a refund on leave she did refund a quarter of our money owed to us the next day through internet banking and wouldn't give our bond back even when we left room in tidy condition very very disappointed and I'm warning anyone who has children please avoid this place was very horrible stay definitely won't be back RUDE OWNERS WHO ARENT KID FRIENDLY AT ALL BEWARE FAMILIES ....

Sparkling clean, all freshly painted.
Showers hot and plenty of water, no timer! Friendly management, well equiped kitchen with extra utensils.Paid $30 for two adults on a powered site - very reasonably priced. Lots of new plantings - flowers and trees.
Only downside is it's a but close to the highway and rail line - but it certainly didn't stop us getting a good nights sleep.

Excellent place to stay would highly recommend, has new owners who are bright and friendly.
The camp has had some major work done to it since they took over and is exceptionally clean and tidy, and have to mention the showers......The best ever!
