Four of us stayed in our campers for a night we were very impressed with the camp .the cleanliness was outstanding ,how many camp sites completely steam clean their kitchens once a week.,well they do
.the bathrooms were all refurbished and beautifully clean .I would highly recommend this place for you to stay .they are new owners and doing their best to get it up to standard. Please people with negative reviews give these lovely owners the credit they deserve we all have to start off somewhere .

Terrible, we didn't even stay there.....
our plans fell over due to a running race closing the entrance to where we were staying in Kawerau so we ended up looking at waterfalls in te puke, needing a non powered site for the night we jumped on the app to see what was nearby, this place was just around the corner.
A grumpy looking sow of a woman 'greeted' us and when I enquired about a non powered site for the night she told us it was going to be $100 each !!
Needless to say, I told her that she was dreaming and we'd find something else.....ended up 10 minutes up the road in Papamoa for $12.50 each per night which is a pretty standard sort of price.
This place should be removed from the app, she reckons she doesn't have short term stays and given the reception we received, she's a bad look for New Zealand.
Worst thing is, we're kiwis ourselves.

i happen to enjoy dirty south americans so i ignored the racist comment below and stayed here anyway.
it is not a good place to stay if you really want a holiday or just a place for the nightbecause it is full of long term new zealanders and seasonal workers. but at $50 pp per week for a van site, you wont find anything cheaper. convenient to the highway, easy drive to mt maunganui or into te puke town. kitchens and bathrooms cleaned every day. the facilities, granted, are pretty old fashioned and dilapidated, but they are large and you never have to wait for a shower or a space to cook. people were friendly. lots of cats. i would stay here again, but wouldnt recommend it to snobby europeans, they will drive the price up anyway!

Went to stay at this park, my friend and I both 18 year old girls, both immediately felt uncomfortable and did not stay longer then 10 minutes, was not allowed a refund and the owner became somewhat aggressive
towards us. Facilities were absolutely disgusting as were the caravans that they expected people to stay in. We were told no drinking except for in our car however there was cans of alcohol all over the place. Arriving to reception was very off putting as the smell of cigarettes and piss was unappealing. 10/10 would never recommend to my worst enemy. Shut this shit down asap before anyone else has to experience this shit hole. Was 100% not worth $15 a night for a piece of lumpy grass to sleep on. The dump station or whatever it was bringing in truck after truck right behind looked much more appealing, extremely glad I got out of there, DO NOT GO!!

We took a group of workers through from Hastings to work in the Kiwifruit Pruning.
There WAS 11 of us on arrival, 4 automatically turned around and left to stay at the pub due to our reception. The owners are very rude, they are liars and will try and hold any bond or blame you for things that wasn't your fault. Very expensive 6 of us stayed in a run-down caravan stuck to a piece of tin thing we payed $80pw each to live here for 4weeks. One lady got so sick from the black mold she got taken back to Hastings. Check the black mold my God its everywhere!!! The residence of the park urinate everywhere instead of going to the toilet which can be a distance away but you'll see especially males pissing everywhere at this horrible park. She walks around (the owner) threatening people that she'll kick them out if this in that shes soooooo rude and BE CAREFUL THEY LIE!!!

I can NOT believe how rude and uninviteing these people were to me.
❣Not good to be here ❣
💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
I asked if there was any accommodation available, the lady said to me well yes there is but it looks like your going to cause trouble to my park. I said why is that? She said because you look so young, and young people tend to cause trouble in my park. At this stage my eyes were watering because of how offended and judged I felt from her comments. I was in coughing fits because of the cigarette smoke that I could see and smell. After I FINALLY convinced the lady that I wasn't going to cause trouble to her park the man showed me to my caravan took me about 10mins just to swap my way through the thick mud. the caravan is ,$100 bond upfront an $115 per week. I got in an the curtains were mouldy, cat poo on the ground, freezer did not go, no running water.the bed and carpet was wet and damp. No wonder I got sick! I would only recommend this place to wild animals, but then even they would deserve better. What a disgrace to our beautiful town. The pool was snot green.no lights at night time. Run down. Nothing got maintained, my caravan was halfway in mud, broken pallet just to get in, door half ripped off, rubbish everywhere. Cats walking in an out of my caravan. Apparently it's okay to smoke WEED and CIGGARETTES in your caravan.how discussing. I think personally that the owners need to get off there lazy backsides ,learn some manners and respect, and tidy the whole place up because it's putting our reputation at shame. Maybe give up smoking to !!!!! Wrinkle bums.😷😷😷😷😷😷

I would not recommend this place for even a dog to stay. The man is very rude unfriendly. On arrival the cigarette smoke chokes you in reception area. You then have to walk through mud to get to a caravan
or your car will get stuck. There is rubbish under this thing they call a caravan. One is so rusty it is just straight on the mud.Broken old pallet to even get in the door. The door is half missing.Once inside there is a plastic bag in window to keep the rain out.It is a mouldy dirty cold hole.No running water in caravan. No electrical wof.All this for $110 perwk.Id rather stay in my car. I wont get eatin by rats in there. This place lets the whole town down.Feel sorry for anyone from overseas who has to experience this. The slums wld be better. An locals shldnt have to live in such a run down hole either they deserve better!
DIGUSTING!!!!!!!
