This was a very nice, clean, tidy place.

A lot of permanent residents with their own cats. It is pretty quiet and might not be the best place for children because of this. The place is mostly for caravans/campervans and has cabins but they do have some tent sites. Some are a little small but fit everything you need, but if you have a bigger tent might be something to be aware of. Overall, was impressed by the facilities and the general tidyness of the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Omokoroa Holiday Park.

We were there for three nights and would happily have stayed longer. Our cabin was clean and tidy and had the facilities we needed. We were amazed at the neat and tidy camping ground. No rubbish anywhere.Separate bins for glass, plastic, paper and cardboard, rubbish. Beautiful lawns all over and lovely garden beds with flowers all over the camping ground. Kitchen was very functional and clean, big benches and sinks, with fridges, freezer. ovens, stoves and microwaves available for use.Large washing line on which clothes dried quickly. Beautiful swimming facilities, very clean and neat. Many campers who all related in a friendly way. Large dining area under cover. Toilets and showers were clean and pleasant to use. We never had to queue to use them and didn't see anyone else waiting either. The camp managers were friendly, helpful and polite. There was a supermarket nearby and a lovely restaurant and cafe which we made use of for a "night off cooking". Great playground for kids and it felt like a safe environment for them to run around in happily. We recommend it as a great place to stay, whether in a caravan, motor home, cabin or in a tent.

A couple of chairs in our cabin would have been nice (but we were in a small cabin for economy).

    Very nice camp ground.

A lot of permanent campers but they are friendly people. The owners are also really friendly and helpfully.

    - very clean and new facillities

    - showers with a lot space for clothes (the best showers I ever saw at a camping ground)

    - free hot showers with runtime of 7min

    - 2 BBQ's

    - 3 roofed picknick bench

    - 2 freezer and 2 cooler

    - laundry

    - WIFI can be purchased

The only very small minus are the both stoves which are not so powerfull.

$10 per person is a great price for this service.

My family stayed at the Omokora Holiday Park for the weekend.

It is one of the best holiday parks we have stayed. Everything was spotless in the motel unit and the kitchen had every appliance that you would need when staying with family - even a full oven!! Every unit had beautiful gardens planted around it. The towels and teatowels were changed every day. The natural thermal hot pools were amazing and in pristine condition. We would thoroughly recommend the holiday park to anyone looking for a restful break and such a quiet setting.

We arrived in the dark after phoning a few hours earlier; it was not a problem.

The gorgeous avocados given to us at check in were delicous with our dinner. It was great to wake up in a huge space with the beautiful avacodo trees. The facilities were perfect; unable to fault. The hosts were a lovely, friendly couple. Fantastic value for money

    More than unpleasant.

After booking in we discovered that there was no internet available and there was no cellphone coverage. The facilities were dirty and sparse. The kitchen consisted of a very dirty plastic table and two dirty chairs. The scattering of permanent residents had chicken wire dog yards occupied by yapping dogs. The lady at reception was off handed and rude when approached politely about all this. We left within an hour although she flatly refused a refund. This is nothing like a proper caravan park it is actually a old avocado orchard with a few trees chopped down. We continued on down the same road and discovered conditions to be the exact opposite at the Thermal Park.

We have stayed twice at this excellent park, in our Motorhome.

Facilities are top class, and very clean. Grounds are lovely, with nice gardens and Avocado trees. Very well set up camp, well done. Quiet peaceful setting, with no permanents, and plenty of space.
