Friendly staff and a very quiet site.

Clean toilets and a nice view of the lake. Very strategic spot for a last sleep before heading to Auckland's airport.

By far the nicest Holiday Park we’ve been to on the North Island.

Bathrooms and showers are spotless, community kitchen is huge and the location on the lake is spectacular. There is a very nice walking path around the lake. We’ll see how ambitious I am in the morning. Checking was easy. We arrived without a booking, contacted Dave at the gate and he got us all set up. $80.00 per night for powered site and 2 couples. Park grounds are immaculate.

Small campsite for a night before dropping off the campervan in Auckland.

It's quiet at night, though on daytimes there are trains and trucks around. Facilities a bit out of date, but very clean. Free hot showers. No wifi, 15 $ ppn powered sites.

    It really was all right.

Nice place with beautiful view of the lake!

Pricing not too bad and lovely showers. Just what we needed after our first night after 34 hour plane to NZ!

Nice little campground right beside the lake which is about 45 min to walk around.

Very good value with 20 NZD for powered site. Spotless facilities. It is a real pity the owner / caretaker is so grumpy und unhelpful. Should spend less time cleaning and start seeing campers as customers not as nuisances. Only place during a 5 week holiday where we have been made feel unwelcome.

    Nice place near the lake.

Kind people. Everything was ok. We selected as last campersite before we leave the campervan at the Auckland airport next day, and it was a great decision.

Before leaving UK I’d emailed the site to reserve a powered site.

On arrival we phoned the number given on the blackboard and were told to park up at site 2 and they’d catch up with us later. We were welcomed by Carol and her family to this beautifully located site next to the lake. The toilets, kitchen and laundry are clean if slightly dated. $30 for a powered site for two adults.

Very nice campground next to the lake.

Owner was friendly and helpful. I payed $15 for a tent. Shower free and very hot. Kitchen and laundry are closed from 9 to 6. I was allowed to lock my bike in the kitchen over night. 400MB free wifi available at tent site, but works only in the middle of the night (3:30). Countdown and shops are not far.

    All very clean and peaceful.

Just that the price $35 for two persons and a campervan with power plug is expensive.
