Nous avons passé 2 nuits calmes et paisibles, au bord de la rivière.
La baignade était très chouette et le lieu très agréable. Plancha et four à pizza disponibles. On recommande!

Such a stunning, special spot to cure the stresses of a busy life.
The stunning backdrop of native ranges & well maintained facilities/gardens, plus lack of cellphone coverage set the scene to cleanse the soul in the crisp clean river, enjoy Camp food and sleep like a baby with Moreporks in the distance. The Hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and supplied us with many laughs, recommendations of things to do locally, memories & the WiFi password (adults only..) Tapu Beach was a 5min drive for ph reception, where Royal Oak Tavern served cheap pints, an amazing Menu, Wholesale, TAB, tidy Pool Table and a beautiful garden bar. Tapu Creek was incredibly affordable, with wide range of site options. We will definitely be back. 4 adults & 1 late teen all agreed 4 nights went way to quick and we returned to Auckland excited to recommend to friends & family. Thanks for having us Debbie, Steve and Mark.

We loved our stay at Tapu Creek.
Small friendly super-quiet campground, delightful spacious sites among lawn and trees, great ablutions block and basic kitchen areas that met our needs. Only 5 mins to coast and mobile coverage. Is limited wifi onsite if needed, but we liked being digital free.

Cute little place next to a small river.
We stayed 1 night and paid 14$pp for an unpowered campsite.
Facilities were clean and you don't have to pay for the hot shower.
The kitchen is more like a sheltered kitchen with a water kettle and a sink.
Important to know is that there is no tap water provided, the water on site is from the river and filtered but not officially tested, therefore it's recommended to boil it before.

Me and a friend went camping there for 3 nights and then extent our stay for an extra night.
Lovey spot, relaxing and quiet next to the gobbling river. Very good price. Wifi is only close to the house. Toilets and shower was spotless. Yes we will go again.

It sounded idyllic but reality was not!
Paid $40 cash for a $34 pitch but owner had no change to give us. Our site was up against a wired fence between an old empty van and a long term resident in a temporary ‘home’. The 2 toilets and one shower for ladies and the same for men were very basic with towels on the floor to soak up the water spillage. The kitchen was just an open sided shelter with no water or cooking power. There was a pizza oven but no wood to cook with. It was however in a very quiet location.
A misleading review, which needed updating.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tapu Creek!
My fiancé, our golden retriever, Dora, and I stayed for 3 nights (originally booked for 2 but extended our stay). The facilities were so clean, lovely hot showers, great outdoor kitchens, the pizza oven (we are pleased we made use of this!), fire pitt and great hosts! We can't fault Tapu Creek and our pup certainly loved swimming in the river. Reasonably priced, no service/wifi (a good digital detox), and lovely large camping spaces, we will be back!

Beautiful spot next to the river,
Very clean and tidy facilities (showers and toilets, didnt check out the kitchen), & friendly helpful owner.
