Wee bit expensive (50pp a night), but a wonderful stay.

Central location, REALLY well stocked kitchen, refrigerator, hot showers, clean facilities, and one towel comes with each individual booked.

Great spot, just a bit pricey.

The staff was very friendly, when gave us a spare blanket to bring to our tent on a cold rainy night. Kitchen is big and full of what you need, as well as a big lounge area. The tent sites are nice, close to bathrooms etc

Staff lovely, facilities decent, but a bit pricey.

Woken up in the night by a group of loud, drunk men sitting in the courtyard. They were asked by several people to be quiet, but took ages to move on. Couldn't find any contact information for any management who might have helped with the situation

This place was the bees knees!

The family running it are super helpful and accomodating! There are free hot water bottles for those in tents, or comfy warm beds in the 4 bed dorms. Hot showers, laundry, huge communal kitchen. Really great!

This was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed.

Put our tent on the lawn as we had to leave the van on the mainland. Kitchen was big, fully equipped and warm. Lots of couches to sit on. The owner is one of the most helpful people I’ve met. This place had a friendly family vibe, it was really nice.

A nice hostel with good facilities.

Great location, just a few minutes from the rest of Oban. Nice kitchen and lounge, great hot showers, free WiFi. Excellent as a base camp for exploring Stewart Island. As no car ferry we had to leave our campervan in secure parking in Bluff. Well worth a visit!

A great little place to stay on Stewart Island.

The owner is so friendly and super helpful in organising trips with you and a fountain of information to plan your stay. The rooms are a good size with hot showers and laundry facilities. The kitchen and communal area are well stocked and of a great size. There is free wifi included up to a certain limit as well. Good value for money.

Although a bit pricy ($20 pp) it's a cheap option to stay on Stewart Island.

You can use all guesthouse facilities. Huge kitchen and living room. Cold washer and dryer, coin operated. Good showers and toilets, and clean. Free luggage storage. Free Wi-Fi. You stay in their grassy garden.

    THIN WALLS!

Housekeeping played really loud music at 9am, when we just wanted one morning to sleep in, so that was quite frustrating. The kitchen was small and very busy. Also, the wifi was mediocre at best.

Overall, though, we had a nice stay - the showers and bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water, and the location is easy to access with luggage when walking from the ferry landing.
