We absolutely love it here, it’s New Year’s Eve and we have the whole beach basically to ourselves and the weather is fantastic compared to other parts of the country.

The campground is a little run down but only because of the floods last year and we are happy to support the holiday park. The service is amazing and the showers are fine $2 each. Short walk to beach. Close to cafe and dairy.

No check out time. It’s really big and friendly, casual and relaxed .

This holiday park supported and accommodated the whole town during the floods as they were the only ones with running water and laundry facilities . We will be back.

The showers are hot and $2 cost.

The cats were friendly. The fish and chips were good. But everything else…… deferred maintenance. Only one womans toilet worked but the bowl was broken at the top so it leaked. No working fridge, the kitchen was dirty. There may have been a sitting room next to the kitchen but not now. Rubbish on the site, two wrecked cars. There are permanent residents in the cabins and sleepouts. It needs work. $10 for np, no wifi.

We were very late and found all FreedomCamps are closed.

We booked this place for 25$ unpowered, 2 Adults.

The place is nice, but the kitchen is dirty, nothing usable dishes inside,

most toilets also dirty, shower cost extra 2$. Only dump point is usable.

This "Holliday Park" is only a expensive parking place, nothing more. The public toilets (500 Meter away) where much cleaner !!! We used them.

Cheapest camp ground on the coast, but $2 for a shower and no cutlery or kitchen utensils in the kitchen etc.

Friendly owners and the best fish and chips from their shop. You can also charge your EV here.

Peaceful place to stay, apart from the occasional truck on the highway through the town and the fire station next door has a siren.

Be mindful if you camp on the river side there are mosquitoes in the warmer months. Showers and toilets and a kitchen, all quite clean and there are also cabins. The owner also runs a takeaway, the fish and chips were quite good.

    The campground is/has been upgraded.

The owner is friendly and has a good selection of movies. It's a cheap place to stay. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is safe to swim in. The place is peaceful, friendly and remote.
