Information

Is an all modes (up to 8 meters in length) campground on the northern coast behind the sand dunes between Phoenix Reef and Comet rock. The campground is located in the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary.

To help keep the open sanctuary free of pests please check your vehicle and belongings for stowaway pests before you visit. Dogs and all animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

- Long drop / vault toilet One vault toilet block with 3 unisex cubicles. 1 of the 3 cubicles is wheelchair friendly.
