Tauranga Tasting Tours

Visit the panoramic Coastal Bay of Plenty region, a veritable culinary treasure trove, given its name by Captain James Cook because of its lush vegetation & ample food. Travel through the scenic countryside, from the beautiful harbourside city of Tauranga, viewing ocean vistas, experiencing both boutique and world-class wineries, meeting international award-winning winemakers & distillers & savouring local flavours. Get a truly personal culinary experience of the Coastal Bay of Plenty or Coromandel with the owner/operator, Paul Marston, who has been actively involved in the NZ wine & food industry for over 20 years.
Or enjoy a trip to the beautiful pohutukawa-clad Coromandel Peninsula, experiencing Driving Creek Railway, Cathedral Cove & Hot Water Beach.
We also travel to Rotorua's thermal delights & Maori culture.
We specialise in personally-custoised tours for small groups (up to 19 people), although larger groups can be catered for, if required.

We had a delightful day organised by Paul & Lynn in visiting Vin Alto for lunch and wine tasting.

Tasting Tours Bus was comfortable with excellent driving and commentary by Paul. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tauranga Tasting Tours to others. Well done Tauranga Tasting Tours - see you next time.

I have been on a couple tours with this company - always value for money and Paul is a wealth of knowledge about wine, the regions we visited and attractions.

He is always prepared to go that little bit further and fit in extras if you ask. My trip to the Coromandel was outstanding and the Cathedral Cove was by far the highlight. The tasting tours are a gourmet's dream and as a result I have been with Paul on his local tasting tour as well as trips to Ohinemuri, Vin Alto and Vilagrads. Without a doubt, I would do anyone of these tours again - it gets your taste buds tingling, your wine palette abuzz and you see a great range of NZ landscape. Do one of the tours if you get a chance!!!!

    Well done again Paul.

Ohinemuri was fantastic, but the day at Vin Alto was the best. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, your friendliness and your knowledge of all good things that come from a grape vine! Am looking forward to the next exciting outing!

I got Paul to take a group of us across to Hamilton for the Cricket.

We had an awesome day out with Paul, the bus was awesome as he got to Park at the entry gate... no walking. He even let us stop at the pub for a few too many on the way home! Paul is a great guy and has an awesome product so I suggest you should get on the Bus ASAP!!! Thanks to Paul and Lyn.

We used Tasting Tours for a Hen's Party.

Paul took us to Ohinemuri Winery for wine tasting and lunch. It was absolutely fantastic and he was such a good sport. Lyn and Paul are awesome people and so helpful. They even decorated the bus for us in Hen's Party theme. I would definately recommend them to anyone and I'd use them again.

    Awesome day out with Paul!

Such a hopitable person and full of fun to chat with.

The tour is well designed and targets on different aspects of beer, wine and cocktail knowledge. Last but not least, the dessert on the Strand is the highlight of the day. Highly recommended tour, a must do in Tauranga!

4 of us had a fabulous tour of the Tauranga region with Paul in Jan 2010.

Paul was an excellent tour host, informative, helpful and very knowledgeable on the area and NZ in general. We spent a whole day in his company and nothing was too much trouble for him. We unreservedly recommend this Company to anyone visiting this part of NZ.

We booked a bus tour to Rotorua with Mauao Tours Ltd on Paul Marston's 14 seater bus after visiting the information centre in Tauranga.

We were off the cruise ship Volendam and the bus tour was a great experience.

Paul gave great commentary and being a 14 seater bus it was much easier getting on and off unlike a 40 or 50 seater bus that takes forever.

We had a bus driver and a guide all in one which made the experience a lot more personal.

Thank you for a great day Paul, a fantastic experience.
