A fantastic hike of six/seven days past lakes, beautiful Beech forest and alpine scenery.

Hike is in good condition but may be crowded as part of this hike is now part of the Te Araroa long distance track.

    My favourite track.

Again, the track was sometimes confusing, but the huts were good and the scenery stunning. Loved it.

Amazing track with a stunning view.

A day trip to the Blue Lake was amazing (clearest lake in the world). At some parts too many hikers.

Really nice hike over 4 days.

A one day hike leads you to Blue Lake Hut and apparently the clearest water of New Zealand. Nice huts where you meet nice people.

By far the best hike in New Zealand!

It is kind of challenging and takes 4 to 6 days and you gotta be careful with the water level. Blue Lake deserves the title as clearest lake in the world. A must do!!

Incredibly beautiful loop through forests, along rivers and over two mountain passes.

Saw very few people and thought it was well worth the challenge! Especially the climb up Mt Cedric!

Truly awesome, should be a great walk, seclusion and stunning scenery and plenty of great excercise.

A bit of everything - beautiful lakes, forest that's a pleasure to trek through, a wild alpine ridge + excellent.
