We offer wilderness hunts in some of the best areas in New Zealand and the world for Red Stag, Tahr and Chamois. Our hunting preserve is either free range on public or private ranch. Our main area is a 25,000 acre sheep, cattle and deer ranch located in the centre of the South Island. On these private properties the hunting of trophy red deer, tahr and chamois is managed to ensure your hunt will provide you with opportunity to harvest the best trophy available. Free range trophy red stags scoring over SCI350 are not uncommon on this property where you will see several trophy red stags in one day.

The hunt comprises of spotting the trophy and stalking into a position where a good shot can be taken. The property is mountainous with several ATV and four wheel drive tracks through out it. The hunter will be driven to an area and were animals will be glassed. Once a trophy animal has been spotted the hunter will be guided in to a shooting position.

Accommodation is either in bed and breakfast style, cabin, hut or tent depending on the hunting package chosen. The mountain ranges create a picturesque backdrop especially in winter months when they are snow covered. Local towns and communities offer the non-hunting companions plenty of diversity and opportunity to experience New Zealand culture and sights.
