    Excellent site.

Quiet with good views of the distant mountains. Extremely well maintained and super facilities. All immaculate. Lovely to wander around and feed the sheep, goats and lamas. Would definitely recommend this site

Ended up here accidentally after we broke down and wish we had known about it already!

Stunning few days with the most lovely owners who have put such care and effort into making the place beautiful ❤️ the site is spotless and so clean, was one of the nicest sites we have been to in NZ. Thank you for being so accommodating for us!

    Absolutely wonderful.

Peaceful, very clean and the perfect location half way between Queenstown and Te Anau…. Can’t speak too highly of it!

    It was great!

One of the best camping places we have ever been to. Love the animals and the possibility to feed them. The prices are reasonable and the owners are just the nicest people. Spent more nights then initially planned as we liked it that much and would always come back.

We stopped overnight here on our way from Mount Cook to Milford Sound and what a great site it is.

Lovely and quiet with plenty of space and good clean facilities.

We had an amazing stay here, owners are very nice and helpful, and they maintain the place very clean and tidy!

Hot shower is perfect, clean toilet and kitchen, kitchen is very organised with providing pots, pans, cutlery, cups, etc. There are stoves and one oven, it’s not big, but very good enough for us to make bread there. Big flat grassland for parking up, good laundry and dryer machines. Anyway, it has all you need for a comfortable stay!

Excellent campsite, it was a good price.

Can’t remember now but an average of $40ish for 2 people non-powered site.

It has coin operated laundry machine, kitchen and lounge!

We found this place much more affordable to come after staying at Milford.

We checked places at Te Anau to stay on our way back from Milford but they weren’t taking calls or had bad reviews. Happy to come and find this place.

Thank you so much Diana for your kind sentiments :)

I'm glad you bought up the price, it's a great chance to get the message out about prices. It's $38 for 2 adults on a powered/unpowered site. When booking for a site, we always tell people to book direct, either by phone or by just driving in as when booking by anyone other than our own website, i:e; free-online-booking, guests pay more and we hate that, we want people to pay as little as possible instead of paying an extra amount because of high commission fees.

I hope you're okay with this response being a public service announcement. Like you, we want people's travel to be as affordable and enjoyable as possible!

Happy travels and again, thank you very much!!!

    Wonderful campsite.

It's in a farm far from the road, so very quiet. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well-equiped. Laundry is possible for 4$ (dryer 4$). Bonus: the owner gives you a little bag of food for you to give to the animals (sheeps, lamas, peacock, chickens...)

We arrived after 8 so was getting dark, but reception was open and checked us in.

Didnt use kitchen area but looked clean. I used washer & dryer $4 each. Clean room. Shower and toilet area were clean but water pressure in showers was pants! Though it did get very hot. Waz too late in the evening to mention it and left early but otherwise seems a good well laid out site. Good wifi too.

We have since rectified the issue and the shower (it was only one shower that was an issue which someone had pointed out to us) is now at normal high pressure, many thanks.

    This place is fantastic!

The kitchen is pretty modern and the showers are super hot! Great little safe country stop as a solo female traveller. Heaps of stood and chicken to greet you when you wake up. Worth the $20 for sure 😊

Paid laundry/coins, kitchen is free, toilets and showers are free 🤙🏻

One of our favourite stays on our trip!

The facilities were great and there were plenty of them, no need to wait to use anything. The WiFi was appreciated after having spotty service for a lot of our trip. The animals were a nice bonus as well!

This place was amazing - one or if not the best campsite we stayed in during our 3 week campervan trip.

Everything was laid out perfectly. Lots of availability for powered and non- powered sites. Showers were nice and hot - plenty of them and plenty of toilets.

Kitchen facilities were really good. Washer and dryers available at $4 each.

Really cute animals too - lots of sheep, cows, goats and alpacas!

    Definitely stay here!!
