Excellent old fashioned kiwi campground up on the hill behind Riverton...
some sites with seaviews south. Not travelling with kids so not sure about outdoor entertainment but the kitchen, showers and toilets were clean and tidy and there is a big inside communal hall lounge area. Friendly host too.

I loved it position and beautiful view even when we arrived in a storm of rain and snow on way.
Hosts were very friendly and loved the quaint kitchen and lounge room. Lovely log fire and hot showers. Games room in same area was a plus. The cabinet with all the old stuff was really great to look back at yester year. Big thumbs up from us.

Great spot, plenty of room for tenting, affordable.
We definitely enjoyed it here, they didn’t cram you in like some other holiday parks. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and the host was very friendly.

$40 for 2 at a powered site.
Free wifi and hot showers. Very quirky communal facilities. Some sites have sea views. It was a very windy night and we were grateful for the hedge shelter. Two vans to a site was ample, would feel very crowded with 4 vans in a busier season. Owners very helpful

Dismal.
I would never, ever stay here again, even if you paid me. Campers packed in like sardines, screaming children everywhere with no parents in sight, dogs barking in trailers, folks nattering until the wee hours and again in the morning. When that stops, someone else has a TV blaring - and again, you're packed in like sardines. Noises all night. Awful, awful, awful. No sandflies. $25 for one person for a night.
