We liked the site and felt really welcome.
Toilets and shower is ok, old but tidy. There was a golf tournament going on so many people around.

Easily one of the best places we stayed at so far!
10$ per person for a powered site next to the golfcourse, they even have a small kitchen and you can use the restrooms of the golfclub which are very clean. When we checked in the club was unattended but you can just put the money into an envelope and leave your registration number and names. Very cool place!

6 power points, toilets are in the changing rooms as is a shower and open all night.
Separate male/female changing rooms
There is a sink and washing machine free to use, cold water wash only but that's how it is now
with modern detergents.
Drinking water available from stand pipe to top up camper.
Lovely view over golf course and quite.
Golfers are friendly and helpful.
When the club house is open you can even get a beer so I was told.
$10/person/night, fantastic.
Went back for a second night after going to Invercargill and the Bluff.
Rock up, fill out the visitor's book, pop your money in an envelope that's by the door and post through the letterbox.
Will even take a BACS transfer if no cash.
Thank you Winton golf club.

The combination between the golf course and camping seems a little odd at first but the people here are super nice!
Got there whilst there was a tournament going on but after a quick call to the keeper got to set up our tent a little out of the golf course way on a nice grassy spot. Was only one other long term camper there. Showers are $2,- for hot water and appear not to be on a timer. Very clean as well. Nice little camper kitchen with stove and a bar (if it's open). Would definitely recommend staying here. Cannot beat the price of $10,- a person either

I'm grateful to whomever decided to install power outlets and invite campers to stay at this golf course.
We arrived in the evening and were the only campers on site. There were instructions and envelopes to put cash in for self-check in. Be sure to drop the envelope in the right slot! I enjoyed a hot shower for $2. On the way out we filled up our water with the hose at the farthest corner of the gravel
lot. There is no dump station. Be warned there are a lot of mosquitoes here so keep your doors and windows closed. In all the camp site is an excellent value and just what we needed to get us a little closer to Te Anau from Bluff.

Hidden gem!
Very clean toilets. Didn't use the shower but looked clean as well. Price is untouchable, $10 pp. included showers and electricity. You just put cash in a box and write your information in a book. So extrem flexible. Very quiet spot. Only two other long term campers when we were there. But we barely saw them. We would come back.

Great stop over spot.
Bring cash $10pp as they may not be there and you just fill out the papereork and drop the cash through the slot. Dated, but fine. Ladies side very clean and good shower. Men's side very dated and was dirty. We were the only ones there so me and my husband used the ladies washroom side. Outdoor kitchen area very basic with stove and sink but more than adequate. Overlooking the sheep and golf course. Very quiet spot and the stars on a clear night amazing!

Can't go wrong here.
10 bucks for a non powered site. 2 dollar coin for a nice hot shower, and a sheltered kitchen area with hotplates and sink.
The gentlemen from the golf club are helpful, down-to-earth as well.

I had a slightly strange experience here where I was the only camper staying and they turned the lights off on me midshower in the evening well before the golfers left for the day.
Then the next morning they did the same thing again while I was brushing my teeth. It was probably unintentional but it was dark in that shower! The washer mentioned in prior postings is cold water only and no dryer on site. The shower in the womens locker room had a clean and newish stall set into a dated and damp basement changing room-overall fine by me but hopefully that explains the mixed reviews already posted. $2 gets you about 15min of hot shower. I was the only person there overnight and the only noise I heard were the cows and birds.

Absolute perfect place to rest up!
2 adults stayed mid March 2018. $10pp, free electric hook up, $2 showers in the (dated, but pleasant enough) golf course changing rooms. Super quiet location. Very warm welcome from the golfers. There is even a washing machine available for free! Just bring your own detergent! Perfect place to power up and rest.

Lovely little campsite and super friendly staff running the place.
A shame you have to pay for showers but good value at $10pp. No kitchen which is a shame and it would be good if they got some washing up sinks. There is a great little bar at the golf club where you can also eat if you like.

I can highly recommend this place for every camper.
Even normal cars find their space here. There are powered sites for big campervans but also normal plugs for the plenty of non self-contained backpackers out there. You can use the big shower/toilets facilities of the golf clubs, which are very tidy and unlocked all times. You can use the roofed space on the house for cooking, sitting or anything else if it's raining and you only have a small camper or car. The space is like 200m off the main road, so really quiet and nice, not just because of the sheep. Price is now $10 per person per night. I think it's worth it. There is place for like 10+ campervans, however we were all alone on a Monday in mid-November.

Parking is your basic gravel parking lot with power on the edge of the golf course and adjacent pasture.
We had more space between our camper and the next one than in many other parks and the area was quiet, peaceful and the air was full of birds. Bathrooms and showers are in the lower level of the clubhouse and are basic and dated. The low price ($15) reflects the condition of the bathrooms and lack of other amenities. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others who want a clean, safe and quiet spot for the night.

Campsite has everything but a kitchen.
Entrance at the golf club sign. If you are lucky you will meet Ian (club captain), Peter, or Chris (goes by the name TC). They will make you feel right at home. To those in need: laundry present in men's changing room. You will need detergent but you get a full spin cycle to get your stuff cleaned properly. Power, (hot) shower, toilets available. Price is $15 per camper.

This is a secret you should not share......
We arrived at the end of a men's day. Hospitality in the pure form. Nice chat with the golfers and some beers. A very quiet night (wintertime) only you have to be careful with the shower or everything is wet. Thanks folks!
