    Staff were amazing.

Facilities clean and always available. 2 playgrounds for the kids. Treasure hunt for the kids. Communal kitchen and common room was clean and more than adequate. Showers were hot! Spa and sauna refreshing. Will be back for sure

Wanaka probably our favourite stop in our 6 week trip.

This campground immaculate! Nice walk into town. Don’t miss the Lake Bar or Black Peak Gelato. Also the food trucks on Brownston St. Roy’s Peak walk is tough but worth it.

Great campsite with the MOST unbelievable night sky.

Slightly further out of town than we realised (25 min walk). Great facilities- toilets and showers lovely and clean. Plenty of space in dining room. Highly recommend.

Staff was very friendly, we felt very welcome! Also got a lot tips for hiking.

Campground is quiet and showers, kitchen etc. Is well maintained and clean.

Probably the best spot to stay if you're planning on doing Roy's peak early the next day.

It is a bit of a walk into the centre of wanaka, but most of the walk is along the lake which is nice.

Good facilities. Really big kitchen which was great! It was quite busy the night we stayed, would recommend booking in advance.

Site is a half hour walk into Wanaka, facilities are good, nice showers!

But we got put in a bit of a dud powered site right opposite the toilets which was very small and people are constantly walking past - also there was no picnic bench. Over all the park itself is small, fine for a night, but might be a bit of a pain for anymore than that.

The best holiday park so far during our 3 weeks in New Zealand!

The facilities were very clean. Free and unlimited WiFi was a rare luxury in NZ, even though it seemed to got a little crowded and slowed down to almost zero. The best thing however was the spa with a couple of pools & sauna that was included in the price! It was very relaxing after hiking up and down the Roy's Peak track. A powered site for 2 was $47 if I remember correctly. There was also a spot for washing your car!

Hi Kimmo! Thanks for mentioning the spas and sauna. Unfortunately as of the 1st of May there is a small extra fee per person, per day for the use of these however everything else we have kept the same!

Facilities for bathrooms are nice but kitchen has no pots/pans, cutlery, cooking utensils, cups or dishes.

Not what you’d expect when you’re paying this much.

Generic top10 camp, where everyone stares into there phones in the kitchen.

Shower block dripping wet because no working ventilation. They didnt provide lables for the fridge but threw my food away anyway. Charged me twice on a phone booking but blamed me for double booking, which i didnt. Because of its location and standardised facilities it will always be popular no matter how dull and impersonal.

    Quiet, friendly staff.

Stayed here last minute and they were very accommodating. Our site had a view and a picnic table. Especially loved the music going in the toilets! More campgrounds should do this lol.

The only reason I’m giving a 9 is because the spas were closed for maintenance and I was gutted otherwise what an awesome campsite!

Reading other reviews I saw there were issues with spacing but we found it fine, your not in each other’s laps and it looks pretty well thought out.

Best showers on our trip!!! Warm and toasty!! Kitchen was great with a selection of dvds and good set up for cooking.

Location, it’s not right in town but I believe they have a shuttle and otherwise had everything we needed.

They parked us by the little nippers playground and little dude had a ball on the slide.
