In desperate need of some TLC.
Site is looking very old and tired. Facilties not keeped clean, we used our own. If you are self contained use the yacht club site down the road on the lake side. No site WiFi so not sure what I paid my money for.

Very unwelcoming greeting from elderly lady (old duck) when we arrived with campervan.
Bordering rude. We looked at eachother and said no thanks, jumped back in our camper and left!

Well very disappointing.
The place was very filthy. The showers were only hosed out once in the week while we were there, but walls and floor was not scrubbed, there was scum all over the floor of showers all week. Water went out under shower door all over the floor.
You had to pay $2 for the use of showers!!! on top of our $420 for the 7 nights we were there.( 3 adults )
Rubbish bins over flowing when we arrived. Glass bins were not emptied all week.
The toilets were not clean, no loo paper in two toilets I tried one day.
Hand basins were terrible, hair in plug hole and drains smelt.
Kitchen had dead flies all over sills. Fridge door had not seen a clothe for some time by the look of it. The floor was filthy.
The lady was not very friendly on top of the above.
The only nice thing was it was quiet and the weather was hot.
I will in future check the facilities before I pay.

Site nice and flat but some of the tree branches were a bit low for motorhomes.
Bathrooms clean but showers coin operated. Seems a bit expensive for where it is and the facilities. Fairly boring view in the motor park.

This is a sports field and caravan storage area in reality.
Way overpriced at $20 per person and to add insult to injury $2 per shower.

Stayed here after the Otago Rail Trail.
Very large basic campsite with limited facilities. Staff not welcoming. Overpriced. No kitchen utensils. Shower coin operated $2. Tent sites flat but with small stones, tree roots and very hard ground. Limited views. Shop and bar close by. Noisy and busy.
