Very friendly people, quirky onsite caravans.
No bells and whistles here but very adequate for what we needed. $18 each powered site in a motor home ;0).

DO NOT BOOK, We booked a powered site, they put us next to people that permanently live here and it's basically filling up with junk.
Hoarding at its finest and it makes the park look trashy. Especially with all the empty caravans.
The facilities are horrible, it's the middle of winter and all I want to do is have a hot shower, not at this place. it gets warm, but not warm enough for you to get in it. Most showers have heaters in them, nope not this place. At $36 dollars a night for two adults, it's way over priced for what they offer.
WIFI...? Don't even bother, you need to pay for it.
The one positive is the lake behind it, they could really do something with this place
The owners should go for a holiday around the South Island and stay at powered sites, so they can see what they should be doing.
