Close to shops.
Great showers. Nice kitchen area. The grounds look lovely and the staff were working to beautify even more.

Old but very well kept showers and toilets with a heater running all day in winter.
Everything is very thoroughly cleaned there. Reception and staff very friendly and helpful. Sites are on the small size but we could still just fit our 7.5 m caravan and the ute. Good kitchen but no oven. No playground for kids but family friendly and skatepark is just across the road! The internet doesn’t work everywhere but it’s free. It’s a cheap campground and would Definitely recommend!

Stayed one night (Friday) after spending the day in Mt Cook area and were losing daylight.
Went to Razza’s for dinner (would recommend for a rural NZ experience - $11 jugs of beer and a huge burger!). Reception was closed when we arrived so followed instructions to book online and choose a site. Sites were really small but was all very well maintained. Hot free showers and a clean bathroom. Small kitchen that suited our kettle and sink needs. Did the trick for a night and would stay again in a pinch.

Very clean campground.
The tent sights have no nearby parking. The female owner has a obsession for grass and what can be on it, so be warned. The cooking area is smallish and there is no leisure area to sit in. It's a small campground with packed in campervan/caravan spots.

Camping area was clean and looked nice.
Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Showers were hot. However, for the number of sites available... The kitchen was a joke. One stove was labeled out of order. The other stove only had three working burners. At each meal, the room was overcrowded while single groups could make a meal at a time.

Beautiful place to stay, clean and the lovely young girl behind the counter was wonderful.
Showers were immaculate. The laundry unfortunately had a dryer that had just broken so was a wee bit of a backlog to get our clothes dried. The only issue we had was being told off for having a tyre on the grass in front of the caravan which seemed pretty mediocre as it was firm and dry and caravans were parked on the grass anyway, after speaking to another vanner he had been told off also for parking slightly on the grass. But this did not detriment in anyway the stay that we had. Will happily come back again

Didn't enjoy this place at all as they seem more interested in themselves, grass, shower theft (!), threatening signs than making their guests welcome.
viz office closed before 4pm so sort yourselves out, don't drive on the grass (on a campsite ??????) Small pitches, silly site allocation with small tents and vans on some of the few big pitches and larger caravans on tiny tent pitches. Ugly vibe with numerous threatening signs.... 3 months imprisonment for 'shower theft'. WHAT!!!! You even have to drive/squeeze round a cone to get in that says it is PRIVATE. Try it if you want but we won't be back.

Good service at short notice, but tent site was in very busy foot traffic area (as camp is quite small and compact) so it was very noisy all night, and ground was so hard I couldnt even hammer in the tent
pegs....good thing it wasnt windy! However woukd be a nice spot to stop with a van etc, and the cabins are really nice.

Small campsite which gave it a more homely feel, we were welcomed on arrival by an extremely friendly and chatty guy on reception who gave us some pointers about the area.
Facilities were correct size for campsite as often we have found that we are fighting for use of facilities at others. Would have loved to stay here longer than a stop over as it was a great location, shops and pubs only 500m away, and fantastic scenery. Also campsite provides services such as bike rentals at a very competitive price.
