Slow wifi (300kb/s ish) Washroom is not heated Otherwise amazing place, very quite despite besides highway

Had a quick and easy check in, only met one member of staff but she was lovely.
The park was peaceful and facilities clean. The kitchen had plenty of space to cook, clean, and a big communal table in the middle. You cant adjust the shower temp but it was warm. Be aware that the lights in the mens bathroom are on a sensor so if you are showering when its dark outside, the bathroom will be pitch black 5 minutes into your shower unless you go out and set the sensor off again 😂. Enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

I can't thank those guys at coronation park enough.
Jamie and the staff my experience there was a stay I couldn't imagine another like it.So unexpected and very rare I'd get back to my room after a long day at work cold hungry and guess what guys I open my door and wow it's so warm cosy staff thank you. You made me feel like that was my home so awesome guys that's why the 10 stars an experience I shall not find anywhere

Small site with a number of permanent residents.
Manager was friendly. Urinal was blocked but they sorted it quickly. The hob we used in the kitchen didn't heat up well. Free wifi but very slow. Paid $38 for 2 for a powered site.

Staff was friendly.
Wifi was good. Campsite in general is okay.
But the bathrooms (toilets and showers) were extremely smelly and dirty (- 3 Points rating).

Friendly staff, clean facilities, lovely hot showers.
Well looked after. We had free wifi.

One of the best parks we stayed at in New Zealand if not the best.
Clean, friendly folks who really looked after us.
Thank you for staying with us. We are extremly lucky that we are only a hour from Christchurch. The staff take a lot of pride in keeping our friendly park clean and tidy, we also think we are the best park around. Look forward to hosting you here again if you are ever in Ashubrton again.

This reception is unbelievable - she was totally drunk, told us to choose a spot, but all the spots were gone (reserved).
Don't go there!

Not enough places for parking.
Too many people who live there the whole year in the park. Dirty.

Found bathrooms dirty, washing machines $4 per load expensive.
Staff not very friendly. Lots of local permanent inhabitants who creeped my wife out in the washing room and kids in the kitchen area. Don't recommend this to any one. We asked how warm the solar heated pool was and we got told they have not checked it for 2 weeks. We checked and I was surprised there was not a layer of ICE on the surface it was so cold. NOT HEATED.
