    Very quirky site.

Enjoyed the train theme. Easy last minute booking and check in. Quite small site - only a few camping spots by the looks of it. Clean toilet facilities. Shower pressure wasn’t the best. Quite a few long term tenants who were working in the vineyards nearby.

    This campsite is fun.

Love the train theme. Facilities could be cleaner but are more than sufficient. Owner is a bit chatty but that's a matter of preference. Would recommend staying here.

Waipara Sleepers is such a lovely place with the most kind host you could think of!

It offers you everything you need, a well equipped kitchen, hot showers and clean facilities. We stayed here for over a week and everything was perfect, thank you David

    Love this place.

Railway carriages for rooms and nice trees and facilities. Fresh homemade bread in the morning is a treat.

Great campsite, yes the whole place is a bit old and could do with a refurb...

but it has character and the train theme is very cool with the old train cars standing around being used as rooms. Very reasonably priced with free hot showers and free use of all kitchen and bbq facilities. Lots of kitchen equipment and fresh warm bread every morning.

    Nice place.

Facilities are ok, well maintained. People are friendly and the price was very good. The big chess game is great - me and my daughter had a good game on it. A bit noisy, but if you are tired enough you will not notice it. I would stay again.

Friendly welcome, would be a very cool budget campsite but all the facilities are very old & quite run down.

Needs a little tender love & then would be great! Good for exploring Waipara wine region.

We were in a camper but the railway sleepers looked amazing! Pegasus Bay winery close by is stunning.
