Really easy little place for a one night stopover in Greymouth in the campervan during awful weather when other options felt too exposed.

This one is in a really convenient mid town location, walking distance to shops and cafes. Really helpful managers, lots of smiles, nothing was too much trouble. Nice hot showers.

We was there for 2 days, really enjoyed it.

The price was really reasonable and amenities were lovely and clean. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. Very close to the business area. The Proprietor was really helpful and friendly

Would have no problem recommending at all.

    Clean campsite.

$4 shower for 6mins was definitely a better choice than having $2 for 3mins as water pressure was what I prefer. Wee kitchen to do basic microwave and your hot drinks. Electric induction which we couldn't use because we didnt had the right pots and they dont have it.

Steve who was helping us out with our accommodation when we arrived late was really nice and really accommodating. Good wee campsite and will be back when visiting Greymouth again.

To all interested in a top value stopover in Greymouth.

My wife & I would have no hesitation recommending Central Park Camping as a superb stopover choice for motor homers.

Central to all CBD facilities, Has laundrette on site, showers, toilets, WIFI, power, close to service fuel. The owners Steve & Deirdre epitomise outstanding hospitality hosts. FREINDLINESS personified. Helpfulfulness is an absolute

Value for money.... You Bet. They exceed expectations

Full equipped site with reasonable price.

Just located behind the gas station. For bathing you need a $2 coin for 4 minutes, it is good enough. Clean toilet, basin for dish washer, and washing machine by coin.

I really liked this park for what it is and the price of it.

It has $2 showers or you can put another $2 in for a longer shower though I think $2 is sufficient if you are not washing your hair. The amenities are clean and rather roomy. Not suitable if you don't have your own cooking facilities as there is no kitchen though there is a kettle in the laundry room and a table and some chairs. The park is walking distance to the town centre. We arrived here Saturday afternoon and there was nothing much open except the Countdown up the road. It cost us $25 a night for a powered site for two people. We have stayed in much worse places that cost us a lot more.

Easy to find (there's a blue caravan sign next to the gas station) The lady was lovely and very helpful.

Great facilities, $2 is fine for a quick shower, $4 if you want longer. Coin laundry, kettle, lots of toilets and plugs available to charge things. Free wifi and within 5 minutes walking distance to town.

The park seemed odd when we first showed up.

It's a parking lot behind a gas station. We stayed one night at a powered site and it was nice. Great location to walk into town. Not somewhere to stay if you're in a tent because it's all cement. The park was quiet. They had the best WiFi we found throughout NZ. They have 3 private $2 showers and only one toilet.

Getting there - As you come into Greymouth from the south there is a Challenge Petrol Station on your right.

Drive through the petrol station and up a slope. The park (just a tarmac enclosure with some cars parked there) is behind the petrol station. Just hook up to the electric. There are a few clean toilets and showers. There are also washing machines. A chain is pulled across the entrance and locked at night. A very polite, helpful gentleman unlocks the chain at about 8 o'clock in the morning and takes the cash. It cost us $20 for a powered motorhome site for 2 adults.

This site is only about 200m from the town centre and we heard no noise during the night.

Recommended if you want to go into Greymouth for a meal and or drink at night

Yes, you are parked close together but thats made up for by the proximity to central Greymouth, just two blocks away.

Challange service station below you so easy walk for papers, milk etc. Clean toilets & showers. Doesnt let under 40s in campervans stay, resident prefer the quiet life, gate chained close at 9pm
