This review is ONLY about calling the office for information.
The woman we spoke to was very sweet and helpful and let us know that our small dog was ok to visit as long as it was kept on a leash. Maybe you need to call and check if you are ok taking a dog.

Couldnt get on the free camp so went here.
Staff couldn't have been more welcoming, given the reviews we read this is clearly under new management. Facilities were clean and the kitchen was impressive. Great location - near to town and a fab cafe in walking distance. Also nice riverside walk with the opportunity to swim in the river swimming pools. Fab!

After reading the reviews we were a little concerned about staying there.
The young chap in the office was a delight to deal with. Friendly and helpful. I asked him how long he had been there - about seven months.
We are fully self contained, so cannot comment on the facilities. Hence I cannot given a higher rating.
It was great that we were able to walk to town.

Absolutely terrible customer service, the old man in the office is not just nasty he is very aggressive.
Only called in to ask whether they allowed dogs in the camping area as the website says 'by arrangement' and he got really nasty very quickly for no apparent reason. I would advise looking elsewhere when staying in Reefton.

Terrible customer service, was yelled at in front of everyone from across the carpark for going to use the bathroom that was unknowingly distanced further from our camp site...
camp host sits at the end of the driveway and watches you! Very uncomfortable.
Good walking distance to town but does not outweigh the cons of this accommodation. Highly recommended staying elsewhere.

The man at the office of this campground was so incredibly rude and unwelcoming when we went to check in.
He seriously is in need of customer service training.

Great place.
Large kitchen facilities. Super hot water in shower. Lots of space on the huge domain for parking so plenty of room between vehicles. Very reasonable and right in town.

Campsite itself was basic but nice.
Showers and kitchen were fine and laundry available. Town is in the middle of no where and not too much to it. Man who served us was very rude. Seemed pleasant to start, didn’t clearly say when we needed to camp and turns out we accidentally parked on his new grass and he became very rude, shouting at us from the other side of the campsite and then came over to confront even though it is a large field and we presumed we could park there. Not good customer service at all.

Pleasant town motor home/ tent site.
Some permanent sites. Powered and unpowered site available we had our large 7 metre long camper on unpowered with 2 adults for $25.00 for the night. Clean, older shower, toilets. Free access to large well equipped kitchen. The laundry charge are average. Free access to water and dump station available. eftpos for most cards, not visa, but atm less than 5 minute drive.
