Stayed one night on powered site.
Several kitchens on site, all clean and well equipped. Sites were private. Bathrooms were clean and had $1 showers. Staff were incredibly helpful in answering some of our questions about day tripping to Abel Tasman National Park. One of my favourite sites in NZ.

Wow what a wonderful little camp.
So peaceful and quiet and the amenities are extremely modern and clean. The heated pool was wonderful after a day out walking. I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get. There were BBQ's, pizza oven, free wifi and the 2 kitchens are fully equipped.

Just spent a great week at the Tasman Motor Camp and was so impressed with the clean and modern tiled bathrooms and kitchens.
Was a great place to bring my dog too which stops me worrying about him being left at home while I'm away. Great to see they don't put up with the ones who don't pick up after themselves or their animals. Loved the heated pool and other facilities. We will be back again. Thanks so much Peter and Rebecca.

Super expensive with 50 $ for a powered site for two persons.
And the showers cost another 1 $ for 6 minutes! The kitchen was closed and there was no dump station. The Wi-Fi was free but not of good quality.

Tasman motor camp is lovely and relaxing.
A clean swimming pool, lots of private treed sites both powered and un-powered, very tidy kitchens, newly tiled bathrooms and showers. Our large campervan fitted perfectly. Dog friendly, a bit too relaxed regarding leads maybe. The owners are lovely and will go out of their way to accomodate your needs if at all possible. All in all a great atmosphere. We will be back!!

Is a hidden gem. Rebecca and Peter have done a fantastic job of doing this camp up since they purchased it and are great hosts. Nothing is a problem..Toilets and showers are very clean as are the kitchens. The pool is heated and just lovely to swim in. The vibe is so welcoming . We have stayed for 3 nights wish it was longer. We will definitely be back.

We found ourselves stuck on New Years Eve with all the local campsites full.
We rang around in desperation trying to find somewhere to stay. When we rang the Tasman Motor Camp, Rebecca answered the phone and after explaining our predicament to us (that we wouldn't find anywhere) and despite being full, she opened up a spare site for us to let us stay. We were very grateful!
We had a great time and stayed for 3 nights. Great facilities including kitchens and games rooms, a nice pool too. Pete and Rebecca, as new owners, are working to develop and bring in new facilities.
Highly recommended.

My family stayed at Tasman Motor Camp over the New Year period and had a wonderful experience.
Peter and Rebecca were very welcoming and nothing was ever a problem.
Very family friendly with a playground, pool and games room. Our 5 and 2 year old had a great time using the facilities. The communal kitchen was also well equipped, clean and tidy.
As we stayed for 4 nights we met many of the permanent residents who were all very friendly. We will definitely stay again.

First impressions were it was a nice camp site, half decent pool to sit around in the sun.
However, the place is totally dominated by young back packers with no regard for others. Most of the camp site was filled with their transit vans so it didn’t feel family friendly. The kitchen was dirty and untidy and cluttered with their food. Found ourselves having to clean an area before we could wash up. There didn’t appear to be enough shower and toilet facilities for the amount of long term people and they were often left in a bad state. Having to go back out of the shower unit in to the main area to put 50 cents into the machine wasn’t the best either. Wifi was poor and constantly dropping out. The owners were friendly but not prepared to challenge the back packers behaviour, late night noise and drinking and their disregard for other campers. Been on the road for 5 months and this was our least favourite camp site. Wouldn’t recommend for families.
