Basic camp ground.
Lots of permanents and long stayers but still room for short term stays. Power sites, cabins and big field area for unpowered visitors. Ablutions clean. Playground a bit old but still looked ok. On the edge of town, nothing to see in walking distance. Allowed our dog which was good. Price was costly at $50 for powered site for two of us. NZMCA members get $4 discount.
Couple of great off lead areas in Feilding for our dog. 16km drive to PNth.

Peaceful park in the country, 3 kms drive to central Feilding, surrounded by paddocks, + lovely trees.
A very welcoming reception from people running it, + people staying there, showing me where everything was. Pets welcome, which is a lovely change, as I left the last park, because they wanted my cat on a lead 24/7, (I left next day) I'm enjoying my stay very much.

This young couple are turning the place around in a big way!
All facilities where clean and hygienic, and well positioned in the park. There are still some renovations being done but did not ruin the experience there.
I am so impressed by how friendly and accommodating these guys are. They welcomed us in like members of family!
Keep it up guys, we will be back!!!

This place is a hidden gem.
The new owners have taken on a big tasks and they are right on track. They've made huge improvements. I found all the amenities clean, tidy and well maintained. The permanent residents are very friendly and polite. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely come back. We are looking forward to watching this place blossom. Thank you Hayley and Luke

The women on didnt seem to know much which made it hard to decide how long we would stay.
Toilets and showers clean, plenty of areas to put your rubbish. Their seemed to be a few permanent other campers there.

Dear Community, the Feilding Holiday Park now has new owners since December 2017.
They are a young energetic couple with a young child who have already made a big difference. They have already cleaned up the park, are renovating all the cabins and bathrooms, and most importantly made most long term residents leave, and those few who are still there have been police checked and are on best behaviour. Please give them a chance next time you are in Feilding! The owners live on site, and will be happy to welcome you and answer all your questions.

Very run down, the residents that live there permanently are very dodgy looking people.
Felt unsafe there, kept us awake till 3am with drinking and loud music, wandered around the campground drunk. And cost us forty dollars for this. Disgusting never stay there again.

Well, don't put the food in the fridge, someone is going to steal it; That were the first and second sentences someone told us, I think it's not safe place to camp, and I totally agreed other reviews after
checking in; Highly NOT recommend.

This is not a holiday park its a scrap yard for filthy and disgusting caravans - how on earth anybody can be in one of these hideous things is beyond belief.
There is shack in the corner made out of old pallets and plastic sheet that somebody with a dog lives in! You do not feel safe here. How on earth it can be allowed to carry on business as a holiday camp is also beyond belief. The owner should be ashamed to take money from anybody. This is the worst site I have visited in 4 years of touring Australia and NZ. The Dept of Conservation basic sites are better than this mess. There is an abandoned car , smashed up, open windows , and full of junk, just lying in the main driveway. A film producer would have difficulty in trying to make a more disgusting area than this is. The council should shut it down on health and safety reasons, The lake is a filthy swamp. The free BBQ - what a joke - its a pile of broken breeze blocks covered in weeds. As mentioned earlier - the only thing any good there was the cat. Mix "Deliverance" with "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" and your about half way there. I wish we had read the reviews earlier. or at least looked in before the $40 was "illegally" taken from us , as this is NOT a holiday park.

We believe in giving any a chance...
this time we were so wrong. This place is discusting and derelict. It is run down, the permanent residents according to the staff are not to be trusted and we were warned to ensure everything was locked down -"things go all the time". The cabins smelt and had to be sprayed for bugs.... no sure why they are even in business. Do not stay there!

We made Feilding in a torrential storm and found this camp, as per previous review, I would never stay there.
We paid $30 for the night for a powered site. Found the site via pointing to a faded map on the wall, all was good until we turned the corner, the camp was under water but that was semi ok, it was the long term residents that worried us the most, then we checked your site and read the reviews so the decision was made to leave and head North. All I can say is that I wished I had read the reviews first and will never ever go back.

I have just spent 3 awful nights at this park.
The place is rundown and ill-equipped. There wasn't even a mug or teaspoon to make coffee with. I borrowed a mug off one of the permanent residents. There are at least 2 derelict buses at the park that appear to have been there for years. Most of the rest of the 'on site' caravans are green with moss etc and occupied by societys 'less fortunate' and 'down and outers'. My bunk room reeked of mildew and I wasn't surprised when a family arrived to occupy the room next to me, exclaimed loudly that the room 'stunk' and then left immediately with a full refund. My welcome by the owner was non existent. I was served by a decrepit old man who simply took my money and pointed at a faded photo of the camp to show me where my room was. He did, however, advise me to turn the outside light on if I was going to the toilet at night etc as 'it would be safer for you'. I have since learned that a convicted criminal is bailed to this park. The language around the park was hideous. The best thing about this place was the camp cat. He/she was lovely. I will never go here again unless the park is given a MAJOR overhaul and the 'hopeless and unemployed' are replaced by families having a nice holiday. I rank this park zero stars.
