Really lovely spot!
Right next to a big, beautiful beach, quiet and the facilities were clean and comfortable. I could see how the kitchen might get cramped in busier seasons, but it was perfect for me. Camp staff were friendly too. Also had good cell reception.
Would absolutely stay again if I'm back in the area!

I had a wonderful stay right by the beach in my unpowered van.
Ed the host was so friendly and hospitable. Showers and kitchen were clean. Good, old school facility on the most spectacular beach. Highly recommend!

It's the Only motor camp in Waimarama - what a magnificent beach.
If u are self contained and don't require power then the open beach front paddock with a short walk to the beautiful beach is ideal.
The amenities are minimal for the camp size, but are clean
$22 / head per night is on the high-level for what the camp provides.
Water at camp but not on paddock.

FAN-TAS-TIC park!!
You can literally almost park straight on the beach! Amazing views! Spacious spots and good facilities. You can rent surfing boards for 40 bucks per day. We got the second night for free because we are on our honeymoon. Really a chill vibe with nice people!

Laundry: $5,00 for 1 wash or dryer, but it was defect when we are here.
Price: powersite $25,00 for 1 person
Location: is beautiful near by the beach
Insects: no
Wc’s: is basic but good
Douche: for $1,00 you have a shower, our shower was not hot and the shower had a little power
Kitchen: is small
Owner wanted to solve it quickly
Its a great location by the beach and you standing also next to houses in the small village. Price ratio is to much I think to standing here, but mister Eden is very helpful

Super campsite, very close to the beach.
Some pitches with shade.
Showers are warm (1 dollar for 4 minutes) and clean. Kitchen with 2 large BBQ very clean.
If you wanted to stay 2 days you stayed 4 days.
Karen and Ed are fantastic hosts

Great place to stay.
The campground was clean and tidy with everything you needed. Loved our stay here 😊

The campground is run by new management effect December 2017.
The reception was pleasant beginning with the traditional NZ greeting of, "how may I help you". Yes, the campground is of the older variety and needs a little sprucing up, but it is positioned near a beautiful walking beach and the domain areas are very well maintained. I plan to spend an extra night to enjoy the scenery and beach 🌴.

Inadequate facilities for the size and cost of this holiday park.
Little shade. Large noisy groups of adults, drinking, playing music all night. Had to get up twice in the early hours to plead with two different groups to please be quiet.....don't go here with children ever.
