A VERY clean, homely campsite.
Where else do you get flowers and music in the toilets! Kitchen was well-equipped and virtually spotless. Very reasonably priced ($30 for a powered site for two people). Great value.

$20 for a powered site, hot showers and a kitchen!
Can’t complain. Not a terrible location. The only down side is the grumpy gardener that lives on site. I had a run in with him over a drone and two long term residents told me he is reliably crotchety. A shame because otherwise the vibes and the community was great.

$35 for 2 of us plus doggo for one night in the camper.
Very clean facilities, very quiet location along the river in town (good for walkies), conveniently close to grocery store.

Kitchen: very, very clean!
Price: $20,00 for one person including power
Location: not the most beautiful location but you are near by a lovely village
Toilets: are very clean with music 🎶
Shower: are free and hot
Laundry: washing machine and dryers are clean and good.
The owners are friendly and helpful. The cleaning everything between 10.00-12.00. The only have grass sites, so when it's raining, it's getting muddy.

I can but agree with all the positive comments previously made. However, be aware that there are a lot of trees with low branches. Our 3.5m high motorhome found them!

Great place to stay.
Facilities really good and clean with the owner going that bit further by adding extras in both toilets and kitchen. Highly recommend.

Could have been one of the best campgrounds we've been during our three month trip through NZ.
Facilities are clean, hot showers for free as well as the town Wifi ($18 per person powered/tent site). Unfortunately they charged $10 for our 8-month-old baby. Not one campground ever charged the baby and they wanted that much money although there are no extra facilities like a baby bath. For us that was just money making.

The woman manager was a Jekyll and Hyde personality.
Was extremely nice when we booked in and agreed to put our dogs in our car to sleep. The next day she turned up at our door accusing us of having our dogs in the unit all night which was false. She demanded an apology for an unjustified complaint which wasn't forthcoming. If she had been a lioness I would have thought she must have had a thorn in her paw!
The male manager was obviously a peacemaker a nice guy very helpful.
Up until then was a lovely place to stay very clean. We left feeling like we had been attacked which we had.

This campsite is amazing.
The kitchen & toilets are spotless, the lawn is bright green & lush even in February. There's also free WiFi. Clearly there's a lot of love and care put into this site.

Nice camp in the city near the river, everything clean, hot showers (free + there is hairdryer + in the bathroom is a radio so you can listen to news and music - love it!), kitchen with TV.
We stayed there in December and there was a lot of light decorations :D But don't worry, it wasn't switched on through the night.

A small lovely campground with clean facilities and a toilets with music.
Heaps of pictures and it's decorated nearly everywhere. There is someone interested in making sure people have a good time. After the East Cape a good place to stay for a few days.

One of the most welcoming sites minutes away from the Main Street and on the river.
Facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained. A relatively small site making it even more special. Don't miss the delights of the local bakery...Scotch Pies!
