Good value for money.
Basically in the carpark next to the road, but felt secure and the spot was big enough. $12.50 for non powered sight and use of facilities, even free (5min) hot shower! Oh and free wifi that reached the van! (June 2021).

Spot is slightly narrower, but it’s OK, The toilet is clean and tidy.
The kitchen uses electricity, no gas. The wash machines are pay for using. The bath can use 5 minutes each time.

Service was really nice!
We arrived unfortunately very late (10pm) due to traffic, we called before and said we are going to be late, lady at the phone said that’s fine, we should call her when we arrive. When we arrived at 10pm we called her and she was very polite (although it was late) and told us over the phone where our spot is.
The spot was very nice, toilets are clean, kitchen is good. Service is very polite. Good experience- would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to stay.
They had everything I needed, close to the beach, and $10 per night per person for non powered site. Perfect!

Interesting is the word i’d describe if i was being nice.
Its just a campsite full of permanent residents with a few spots for visiting campervans. Within 10 minutes of being there a naked man covered only in a hand towel and his stomach hair decided to take a dander through the campsite and past our van to the shower block, it really set the tone. The two kitchens were good but the real selling point is that for $12.50 pp you too can spend the night on ocean avenue. You get what you pay for.

The campsite is really nice and just across the street to the Ocean.
Staff are friendly and helped us out with plates and pans for the kitchen and a little bit of wifi is included every day. We paid $15 a day per person. Really good!

This was a very busy place full of long term campers.
Less space for cars and campervans. We actually got one of the last places on the grass next to the reception where we had to use the car park to drive onto it. Enough shower and toilet facilities were available. BBQ and kitchen places available for common use.
The park is very close to the beach. Internet was available but we haven't used/checked it. The stay was $10 per person for an unpowered site. We had to leave 12 noon the next day.

The rudest service we have received here in NZ.
We called to reserve a space for a camper van, that was fine - she told us to be there by 5 as the office closes, we told her where we were travelling from ( over an hour and a half away) and she said it would be fine. We arrived 30 mins late due to traffic. She simply told us at the door, you are late we gave away your spot. So we had driven 2 hours for nothing even though we had reserved a spot and told her on the phone the distance we were travelling. RUDE

Very affordable for the area (we chose to stay here in Papamoa rather than right in Mount Maunganui) and short walk to Papamoa beach just across the road.
Clean basic kitchen and showers on a timer. Small amount of Wifi included with your stay.
Looks to be very few visitor spots as almost all of the Park is dominated by caravans that have not moved for many years. This combined with the unique characters we met gave it a feeling that you are intruders in the park.

Visting New Zealand and trying to travel on a budget, but after staying at this so called Holiday Park would rather spend our money somewhere else.
There was no service with the unstocked shop closed most of the time and the slowest gate in the Southern Hemisphere. Toilets looked like they haven't been cleaned in months with faeces on the wall which was disgusting. 3 out of 4 showers in the womens shower block not working or just a trickle.... Most mornings there was campers drinking from 8:30am and it seemed to carry on all day throughout the campsite. Just looks like a Gypsy clan have moved into an awesome beach area and it wasn't a very pleasant stay. 2kms down the road would have been a lot better Top 10 Holiday Park. Come on Beachgoove, There are NO excuses for not having a tidy place for visitors to stay!! You have a nice beach across the road so why not a clean camp to go with the surroundings!
