Paid for wifi that didn’t work and also no signal.
Had to pay for hot showers but did realise this was quite common for campsites in NZ. Shower block/toilets were fine. Campsite is right by the beach and was quiet but wasn’t blown away by this place.

Very crowded campground with small tent sites.
However, the facilities, like the bathroom, kitchen, playground, and bbq, were immaculate and the campground was well organised. I was very impressed by that.
On the other hand, there were no quiet hours and there were children playing, shouting, and running around until midnight. There were also some safety lights left on all night. Both of these things made it hard to sleep, especially in a tent.

A large holiday park with no privacy between sites but nice, clean facilities.
You're right across the road from a big beautiful beach.

- pretty far from supermarkets, restaurants etc.
Costs: 36$ powered site, 2persons, 1night
+ clean kitchen and bathrooms
+ felt cozy and comfortable
+ quiet
+ next to a beautiful beach
+ friendly owner
- 2$ extra for 4mins warm shower
There were also several ducks which were very trusting and wouldn’t go away while we ate.
We liked it there very much.

A lot of old caravans here used as holiday homes, we visited before the school holidays so most were not in use.
The facilities here were very clean and fresh. The location quiet and close to a nice beach. The take away food was not open in early December, it was suggested we go to the local cafe & bar which we did but this was struggling to meet the demand, so we drove back down the road to the last town and ate there.

Gave a 5, but didn't stay here.
Again have found another place that this app needs to update the prices. It's is 20pp for unpowered. Seems like an alright spot, but we picked it because its listed at $12.50pp. Gets frustrating after awhile pulling up to sites and having out dated information.

A quiet, sheltered site.
Two minutes walk to the beach. Helpful staff, and the facilities were freshly decorated. A lot of 'fixed' campers and mobile homes on the site so it felt crowded, but when we were there at the end of February most were not in occupation so the site was very quiet.

Nice quiet campground.
Toilets are quite old although clean, hot shower is 1 dollar but when I was there the machine took my dollar without giving the hot water! Kitchen is decent sized. Laundry and drying machines availables.
