Hosts are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and fully recommended this as a group/family vacation spot.

They were very friendly. At that price range I was expecting some sort of exaggeration in the descriptions however we were more than pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous area, lovely pools and a very tidy, clean and charming hotel room. It was a superb place to holiday with little kids and we will definitely be back for longer next time.

Very clean facilty with beautiful pools and cedar hot tubs.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice park like setting with beautiful landscaped camping areas.
Swimming pool area is open to the public (for a fee) and has a covered BBQ area. There are 3 pools to choose from. Very nice facility.

Had a great time. Grounds and pools are very well kept and though the facilities are a little dated thy are kept well maintained and clean. Staff were great. Thanks

The park is under new ownership as of November last year, so there are lots of little plans afoot to update the facilities - hopefully you'll notice these next time you come to stay! Some nice sites alongside the river running through.
Facilities basic. Heated pools a lot of fun with the kids. No wifi. Cabins appear to be used by seasonal workers from many Islands which added to the holiday feel to be honest!
Thanks for the review, guys! We're lucky to have a stream running through the park and the sites right next to them are beautiful, and also a great place for kids to play. Unfortunately we don't have WiFi at the park, but we're surrounded by beautiful nature, a natural spring and forests instead! Hope to see you guys again in the future.

Nice friendly new owners as of dec 20.
Bit expensive $20 p/p p/n unpowered camp site, plus an extra $2 for a 6 minute hot shower, and had to vacate by 10 am like a motel, price includes access to pools tho, nice and clean, lots of bush walks around and quiet surroundings.

Kids enjoyed the pools and playground, and our dogs loved the bush walks and stream running through the campground.
Showers weren’t great, considering they cost extra. Staff were really friendly.

Clean but a bit old facilities.
You can use the thermal Pool during the stay without extra costs. Free WiFi, friendliy Staff. Shower costs 2$. With 22$ pp pn with CV and using of electricity a bit expensive.

Stayed for three nights, friendly welcoming staff, very clean, the children enjoyed the pools, playing in the river and playground.
Highly recommend for families as there was a safe feeling and lots of happy children running around enjoying their time.

Beautiful spot, camping has a river going through.
Very nice hot pools but I wouldn't stay there more than one night, facilities very dated, they charge you for showers no Internet, no dump station, so basically you are paying $24 dollars per person just for power. Lovely lady at the reception.

We ended up spending two nights here due to problems with out campervan.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Had a site next to the river. Showers are good, cost $2 for 8 minutes. We didn't use the pool and hot tubs, but they looked very nice.

This is the most beautiful site we’ve had on our month long holiday through the North Island, with the bush outlook and crystal clear stream, great for a cool dip!
The pools where great for our little boy who dislikes cold water. However, a lot of the facilities and pools are still dated, but adequate and clean. We were certainly glad we stopped here though and would come back!

When we got a wheel bogged in a soft spot in the dark, Management came to the rescue without hesitation.
