First camp grounds we stayed at, but staff were friendly, other campers were friendly or kept to themselves.

The toilets were clean and well lit.

I have no issues here and may even come back if there's a good reason to stay in te aroha.

    Very friendly, hard working staff.

Grandkids 7, 10 & 11 love the playground. Shame the flying fox is closed due to safety issue. Although the abulution block including kitchen area is looking a bit dated, they are CLEAN. The rec room is spacious.

Hubby and I like it here with it's rural setting, mountain views and the animal, small farm surrounding. It's only a 5 minute drive to town and the public hot pools. The only DOWNSIDE - our nonpowered tent site is right alongside the main highway. Continuous road noise night and day mean lots of disturbed sleep especially when trucks hurtle by at 100 kms. They sound like freight trains.

Will we return? Of course! We shall buy ear plugs.

The staff was friendly and amenities clean however while doing laundry my gf stayed back in the van and someone must have suspected I was the only one and tried to break into our camper van.

My gf was in tears and petrified but she kept quiet while the permanent checked each door after smacking the hood to see if an alarm went off. Other than the troublesome experience it was a nice place

New owners when we got there.

Place was really pretty rough but they'd only just bought the place when we'd got there.

    Sept 19.

We arrived here pretty late in the day and the staff were very helpful. A mix of cabins, old caravans, and campsites. We had a big camper and were put in a good stot with power, water, and a greywater dump. Lovely view. The pool was closed as it was low season (and cold!) but the facilities were very good and clean. Nice spot.

First stay at a holiday park, and it was everything we needed.

$35 for 2 people in a camper. Unsure if that including power, but they offer it. Hot showers, tv room with a $5 key deposit to charge all your gear up. Good size kitchen with 8 hot plates, fridges and freezer. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper in the morning, and the laundry only washes with cold water. Otherwise it could’ve been a 10/10. Real good campground, for a real good price.

We had no problems while we stayed here.

The facilities and grounds were a little run down, but they did a great job at keeping them clean. We really enjoyed watching the mini horses in the back!

First thing we noticed was that the park was up for sale, cabins looked extremely tired, customer in front of us was treated rudely and us little better, we did end up parking in a nice grassy spot after

requesting a change at extra cost even though park was 90% empty

22 dollar pour une tente c'est un peu cher surtout quand les 2 piscines sont couvertes.

    Tout n'est pas hyper propre.

Lovely big flat green site surrounded by trees.

All necessary facilities (laundry, kitchen, TV room, hot showers), everything immaculate. Some noise from road in daytime, quiet at night. Great for kids - fantastic playground, large ride-on toys, pool. BUT, the Dump Station was a bit of a disappointment. Right by the pool, very difficult to navigate our 7.9m van into, very basic dump station.

Have been there for one night, on a powered site.

Nice place under trees, very friendly welcome by owner. The sites all have a bit privacy. Nothing to hear from the near road, but we were on the othet end of the campground. Hotpool was also nice.

The staff in the office were friendly and went significantly out their way to assist. Only negative was road noise.
