Very nice way to spend your time on the Coromandel Peninsula.
A 3.5 hour kayak tour at Cathedral Cove with a wonderful break with coffee at the beach. Quite pricey though.

Nice tour (about three hours) to Cathedral Cove.
Nice and experienced guide. I felt a bit sick because the sea was very rough when we did it.

Great kayaks, very good guide, lots of good explanations about the nature, the cultures.........!!

We did the morning kayak to the cove with our daughters aged 8 and 6 (as passengers, mostly).
All the gear, great guide, beautiful place. Capuccino on the beach. Paddled into a sea cave. On the way back, our group rafted together while the guide told us stories of the Maori and European history in the area. Then we hoisted a makeshift sail to try to catch the wind back. Posted photos for us to download from Facebook. Highly recommended.

We did an afternoon trip to Cathedral Cove, there were 4 in our group with 1 guide.
The coffee on the beach were great and there was the right amount of time to wander through the cove before heading back out on the water. It was good to get out further in the open water and circumnavigate one of the islands. If you were a stronger/experienced kayaker you might have not got your fill but for the average punter there was about the right amount of paddling.

Brilliant fun and informative trip out on the sea.
Staff really friendly and our guide really knew what he was talking about when giving us a tour of the area. Plus the hot drinks on the beach were very impressive, considering he made them on the beach. Definitly worth the money

Awesome trip, would love to do a longer one!
Friendly, knowledgable guide who let us explore while keeping an eye on us in the swells. Also great that staff let me join the trip even though I was late!

What a day!
I did the full day tour and was glad I made the extra effort. 6hrs of laid-back paddling, exploring inside sea caves and tunnels in the morning and the clear waters of the marine reserve in the afternoon - it was great seeing the difference between the two parts of coastline. If you're thinking about a trip, do the full day. Unforgetable!

Absolutely loved this experience.
Such beautiful scenery and a lot of fun. Particularly enjoyed hanging out at such a secluded spot at Cathedral Cove while enjoying a delicious coffee and biscuits prepared by our guide. Totally worth the money. Thanks!

Fantastic trip round the coast to Cathedral Cove.
Guide pointed out lots of interesting features and invited us to Kayak through a tunnel, and into a cave.

Absolutely amazing experience!
Beautiful scenery with breath taking views and a friendly guide that made the best hot chocolate/moccachino. Kayaking is much easier than it looks :)

A great 3.5 hour trip with fantastic scenery.
The guide did a superb job and provided us with a commentary that was interesting and informative. He even made a nice coffee for us at the beach at Cathederal Cove, (cheers Nick). I believe this trip was good value for money and I highly recommend it. This is a very cool way to see this part of New Zealand.

Because the track to Cathedral Cove was closed we decided to do a kayak tour, so we could see the Cathedral Cove - great tour!!
