Pretty good stay, nice level spot and decent price ($46pp for powered sites).
We also used the onsite laundry ($4/wash or dry). Didn't make use of the kitchen facilities but we peeked in and didn't see an oven only gas(?) burners. My wife didn't enjoy the unisex washroom / shower facilities however we did notice a separate women's washroom on the other side of the building as we were leaving. Beach is a short walk away.

Awesome spot close to the beach, pet friendly and they also have the sweetest pooch named Snapper who will be sure to keep you company if you want it, plenty of space, we can tell it would pop off in
the summer time , only slight issue we had was the shower, not the best pressure and took a bit to warm up but over all the vicinity was fabulous and had wonderful staff who were very cheerful and helpful

Beautiful view to a lovely Bay.
Kitchen had no pots or pans and had signs "clean up, your mom isnt here". Recepcionist didnt believe i was travelling by myself and checked my van. Not the friendliest environment.

Fabulous spot to stay- and the pitches are well maintained and beautifully cut.
It was very quiet when we visited but the bathroom and showers were spotless , there’s a plancher to cook on ( a welcome relief for us self contained) kitchen, water fillage, hot showers and toilets.
The local area is all about the beach- bring your food supplies though there’s a shop on the camp site it’s best to plan ahead.
We didn’t use them but there’s also a TV room onsite.

Really nice well kept Campground.
Nice friendly owners and an awesome camp dog named Snappa! The only thing lacking was dishwashing stuff in the kitchens but that could be because it was low season and very few guests. Would definitely stay again

Lovely clean campsite with amazing hosts.
It’s family run and hosts go out of their way to care for you and the environment. No dump station, it’s in Mangonui and sometimes it’s full yuck. Although the information says no dogs we went in late January early February with our dog. We asked when we booked and they take dogs outside the peak three weeks at Christmas. Will definitely go back. Was very impressed with how clean everything was. No hot food but we’ll stocked camp shop.

We were a walk-up in camper van wanting a powered site.
Owner/manager seemed rather stressed at welcome stage and seemed that all the business was a bit much. First of all Rankers, this place does NOT have a dump Station which your info says it does have. You have to go past Cooper’s Beach to get to one.
Park is well set out with good clean amenities. $46 for powered site for 2. Nice little shop for essentials and some fast food.
Water supplies obviously a challenge which was obviously front and centre worry for the Owner but that’s an essential customers require when staying.

- almost cold showers @ $2 for 4mins, there’s no reason for this.
Gorgeous spot
Fantastic hosts
A few things
We stayed elsewhere after and paid $1 for 5mins for pure hot water. They ran off tank water.
- 5 days surrounded by crying babies and small kids. I’d suggest having a section in the park for people without kids - first in, first serve basis.
- felt quite cramped - I think more planting needs to happen around the sites - small shrubs etc. the road material needs to be changed to something a little more softer on the eye to create that space - perhaps something the colour of sand or something like that.
I liked the movie nights and all the various equipment you could rent out.
Hosts were extremely friendly even going that extra step to show you where your site was.

Well maintained and friendly staff.
However expensive showers in unisex bathrooms (with lights on timer leaving you showering in the dark). Good reading/TV room and kitchen was clean, though bring your own everything!

Off season with declining weather, so they were surprised to see us, but very helpful.
Womens bathrooms under renovation, so we used the mens (but we were the only people there so no problem). Good kitchen, eating area, TV room fully equipped with reading material. Showers $2 for 4mins. Sheltered set back from beach (5 min walk). Only warning .....this is the only camp here and during the short summer season this is an extremely busy area...)owner advises: 500+ people...).

Nice flat site with plenty of room.
Lovely helpful host and great fish n chips from the onsite take away. The new unisex toilet block is spotless. Good BBQ facilities with kitchen and TV lounge. Site was quiet in mid February. Well worth the money.

Campsite quite nice but facilities definitely in need of TLC.
This is NOT beach front although the beach is close ~ maybe 250 m or so. No cellphone. Cold water laundry for 4.00 plus charge for showers. Also, weather not so good which is maybe why I am quite negative about this camp.
