The track leads to St Paul's Rock above Whangaroa township and provides spectacular views of the harbour.
You can access the track from the carpark at the end of Hospital Road, just north of Whangaroa.

Short, steep walk and a little bit of climbing is required at the top of the rock.
Chain have been installed to hold on to. Peak is 212m and views are amazing! If visiting in a big camper van there is limited turning space on hospital road however there is a small parking area just after the turn for Hospital Road by the Harbours edge. Watch out for cows!

10 points for the beautiful view!
An incredible hidden walk.
We did it during rain, therefore it was a dangerous and extremely slippery climb up and especially down!
We slid down several times in the mud.
So I would recommend to do this when it's dry.
Takes about 15-20 minutes. A little steep, but no problem because of the short way.

Beautiful views after a short hike - perfect stop along the way to get out of the car but not take too much time, We only saw one other group of hikers, really nice!

A 20 minute path that leads to the summit of St Paul.

Great walk!
Very short hard work (20min) up the hill and on the rock. Great, spectaculair views over the harbour. Surprisingly high and amazingly beautiful for such a short walk.
