My partner and I arrived in New Zealand and really wanted a Maori cultural experience.
We signed up with a tour with Neill and Ceillhe having a vague idea of what we wanted. What they delivered to us was priceless. We could not have asked for a better integration and understanding of the Maori tradition. We were hands on involved with preparing the hungi, creating flax leaf baskets, rowing a waka ama, took nature tours with the members of pa and really were able to live a life as a member of the tribe. We were extremely impressed with the organization of the event, the abundance of food and activities and the openess that everyone showed towards us. We loved this experience so much that we have stayed in New Zealand on a working holiday visa for just about a year now and can honestly say that participating in the Maori Cultrual event put on by Neill and Ceillhe from TIME unlimted was one of the best experiences that we have ever had.

When travelling around the world I always try to book personal tours instead of tours in big groups.
So I came across TIME Unlimited Tours when travelling to Auckland at the beginning of a tour around New Zealand. I came across their really nice website, decided on a full day tour around Auckland and loved it! The guide was a really friendly guy called Neill. He toured me and 3 others around Auckland city to see several amazing sights such as Mt Eden and Tamaki Drive, explaining all the many islands we could see from the volcanoes. I had no idea Auckland has so many great beaches. Then we went out to the west coast with its black sand beaches. I really love the film The Piano and it was a delight to actually walk on the beach on the west coast where it was filmed – wow! The sand is sooo black out there! He also took us to several beautiful places such as a mountain from where you could see both the black sand beaches and Auckland city in the distance. He also explained a great deal about the various plants and animals in NZ. Most impressive for me was the passion Neill obviously has for his business and the way he explained everything, plus we were treated to a great lunch and even great tea beside the sea, which was a real treat. The tour was a lot more than I had expected and can say that it was a great tour that I would like to recommend to everybody!

Amazing Tour in Auckland
I was part of a small group with only 5 others on an Auckland Tour. A really friendly Maori woman called Ceillhe collected me from my hotel in Auckland and showed us many beautiful places in Auckland. I was really impressed with their nice vehicle, which catered for small groups of only 6 people, which made it all really personal. No talking through a microphone, as I've experienced on many other tours before. I forget all the places she showed us but we visited a really wild beach on the west coast of Auckland and also did a forest walk, where she explained the Maori uses for various plants, such as one plant that was used for writing on, as well as the Silver Fern and other plants! Auckland City was great too - she showed us several volcanoes which were great viewpoints, as well as lots about the varied history of the place. I almost forgot the lunch: She prepared a wonderful lunch that was truly 5 star (including Salmon sandwiches with LOTS of Salmon) and we ate it near the black sand beach we visited in the afternoon. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough and am really glad I chose this one!

Truly the TIME Of My Life!!
I had come across TIME Unlimited via their website www.newzealandtours.travel and I was very impressed by their offer and thought it was great they had already won so many enviro and sustainability prizes, that I booked with them straight away. I had chosen a West Auckland Wilderness Walk and was really excited to explore the fascinating nature of the Waitakere Ranges. I thought it was important to do this in a very small and personal group, because I just knew I would benefit more from the whole experience! Néill, the tourmanager was great fun and taught me soo much about Auckland and the native trees and birds surrounding us. You can tell that TIME Unlimited is set out to consider every detail to make your trip perfect and unforgettable!! From the delicious pick-nick to the comfort of their luxury Mercedes Viano to the personalised Wilderness Auckland Tour it was a fabulous day and I would recommend it to anyone who comes to New Zealand!! Auckland is so beautiful and I would explore it with TIME Unlimited anytime again!!Thank you Néill and Ceillhe!!

Had a great tour around Auckland with Neill and a very friendly group of 5 other travelers.
Along with various areas within the city we had hoped to visit, we also got to experience areas of the scenic west coast, including a forest walk to a waterfall and a black sand beach. He was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the areas around Auckland. Took some great panoramic photos of the city from the top of the volcano we drove up.
Food was excellent including huge deli sandwiches and snack boxes to hold us over until lunch. We sampled some interesting New Zealand snack foods, and the small group size meant the vehicle we were riding in had plenty of room to stretch out.

The Maori cultural weekend was phenomenal and their experience with off the beaten path hiking and fishing spots in and around Auckland make you forget you're anywhere near NZs largest city!

I went on a full day Auckland Tour with TIME Unlimited.
It was a great experience. I only had 2 days in Auckland and initially thought it's "just another city". After this tour I realise why it's been voted one of the top places in the world to live! Great tour, amazing scenery, a passionate guide, really awesome food - and I loved especially the bush walk and seeing the famous Silver Fern for the first time. I'm really happy to have done this tour.

I went on a kayak fishing adventure with these guys recently and was really impressed.
The tour itself was wonderful and we kayaked in an amazing area near Auckland. We also used really new kayaks that were very stable and everything was top of the line. And yes, we caught heaps of fish too. But what impressed me most of all was the fact that the guide obviously LOVED what he was doing and - after asking us as a group - he decided that life's too short and he extended the tour by about 2 hours, which we have never experienced anywhere else before. We have been on many many tours where you're just a number but with time unlimited you really gor the impression that we were actually important. What a fantastic experience that I would like to hereby rave about! Great lunch too, even including Salmon sandwiches- YUMMY!!
