    Wildlife on the Otago Peninsula.

They take you to see sea lions and penguins in their natural habitat. The ride with an eight wheeler was a blast and we got really close to the sea lions (circa 1 metre).

This is a fun/eco/tourist/wildlife tour all rolled into one!

The Argo was great fun and quite the experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and persistent in spotting the yellow eyed penguin for us (bring binoculars if you can). It was interesting to watch as the sea lion and the penguin spotted each other on the beach!!! We also saw NZ fur seals inadvertently very up close! We were pleased to support the conservation efforts being made to keep this area wild while allowing us a look at the wildlife. We would recommend this tour for anyone, especially families... kids would love this! (Note... Argo ride is rough for those with physical limitations)

Exciting and very informative, short trip to see the fur seals and penguins.

We were a small group so well able to ask all our questions. The family deserve great credit for their conservation effort.

With a car 4 x 4, we go to the fur seal colony with a lot of baby seals.

Fantastic! And small blue penguins at 1metre in front of me. Very good.

Great fun visiting seal and penguin colony on Argocat, especially for a young boy.

Probably not the best way to see wildlife if that was your primary interest - get close to seals but penguins were very distant!

    Wow, What a fun tour.

I had already heard alot about Natures Wonders and that it was a great thing to do. We weren't disappointed, although Perry (owner) wasn't our guide we still had a very knowledgeable guide who made the trip enjoyable. Seeing the seal colony was great - such an amazing area. Saw 1 yellow eyed in the distance, and a few Blues behind the walking tunnel. Great trip, well worth the entry fee. The only negative point was that the trip SEEMED to be over exceptionally quick.

So close to the seals...within reach of a pup feeding from its mother, just beautiful. The penguins were at quite a distance, but still great to see.
