Ride along the beach and the sand dunes, amazing.
Very friendly staff. Although they were booked out we were able to take a 1 hour trip.

The drive from Auckland to Pakiri in itself was fun, and Pakiri Beach Stables did not disappoint.
It's been a dream of mine to go horseback riding on a beach, and the white-sand beaches in Pakiri under a clear morning sky were quite stunning. Our guides were friendly, and the dogs were adorable. Nice horses, too. ;^)

Wanted to ride a horse on a beach and this place fitted the bill.
Weather was not great but they couldnt do anything about that, they were willing to cancel our booking if we were not happy to go which was nice, since some companies would put money before your comfort. Supplied us with wet gear so the rain didnt really bother us. Horses were great, scenery was great, staff fun, friendly and doing the job because they love horses. Highly recommened.

stunning beach and dunes! lovely guides and horses!!
i was really nervous getting up on my horse (was my first time riding), almost backed out but i'm so glad i didn't!! my daughter loves horses and riding on the beach is something she has always wanted to do, definitely going back for her 8th birthday next year too!

A must do experience - the relaxed horse over the surf and floral sand dunes.
Good friendly team / guides, good cafe too. Would be good to canter at the end.

Run by a beautiful lady with over 60 years of horse experience
Over 100 horses.
The guides are from all over the world and great. We took the 2 hour ride out onto the ranchs dunes right on the beach and in the surf. My wife had tears in her eyes. Quite an experience. We lingered after and had a great Kiwi burger. Highly recommend if into horses.

Charged more than advertised price, had to wait for ages with no explanation, horses very strong & poorly mannered.
