Thoroughly worth the time. An hour is time enough. Interesting historically and culturally.

Interactive elements very good. I feel I know why the city is as it is today.

I love museums that I know nothing about and then they surprise me.
This was one of them! I really enjoyed this place. Being free also helps. A great place to kill a few hours on a rainy day.

And in the centre of Wellington (harbour) you have free WIFI (see the brochures).

Great little museum, nice and quiet and not hordes of kids milling around.
Better than Te Papa. Well different anyway. Nicer atmosphere and not so overwhelming.

You can 'see' old times. Great idea to make history like a blackboard with pictures.
