We went on an evening kayak trip on Lake Mapourika.

The guides were awesome and the lake and scenery just amazing. Had an awesome time!

    Avoid this outfit!!

After having our reservation for weeks, they cancelled on us a few minutes before the start time! Their policy is that they don't go out with less than 3 people and they hadn't met their minimum. Really?! We drove 6 hours to get there, and at the last second they cancel! Shame on them, they don't deserve to be in business.

    Personal tour.

Good, informative, knowledgeable guide. We would have liked to have been given waterproofs though!

All of Mount Cook is pretty specky, this just gives you the chance to see a bit you don't normally see.

Took up an afternoon tour but ended up slightly disappointed as it was a tad different from what I have expected.

It was a pity that we wouldnt get close to the glacier. Guide is on work and travel visa, and even though he was pretty informative, but I felt he lacked the personal touch and the local knowledge.

However, the view of Mount Cook and the surrounding areas were fantastic. Hike through White Horse Campsite down to the Valley was interesting and manageable. And yes, we had a taste of glacier water too!
