Had a 2hr charter with Mark & Greg and must say this really is a great trip that is fantastic value for money, both are very knowledgable about the area & marine life.
We had a couple of young novice fishermen on board who they were extremely patient with helping them out and offering advice. Best of all we left with a great haul of crays & fish to take home. Highly recommend this charter will be coming back later with some friends to do the 1/2 day. Thanks guys

awesome time had,great crew,the fish and crayfish just seem to follow them.saw some seals,sharks,and three different types of albatrosses.wat a beauty,cant wait for dinner.

Fish Kaikoura is awesome.
Jonny is a fantastic guide. We started out pulling some crayfish pots. Lo and behold there were two big enough to keep (hello lunch!). Afterward Jonny took us to a bountiful fishing spot where we caught loads of sea perch and blue cod, including some big boys (a couple 5lb 50cm+ blue cod). These guys are top notch. Don't bother going out with any other charter operation. Fish Kaikoura is the way to go.

My girlfriend and I went on a charter with Jonnie a few months back and had a blast.
We couldn't believe how much we caught. Drop the line and bring one up straight away was the theme of the day. Being in the Tourism industry I know that it is important to be a good host and have a good rapport. Jonnie and fish Kaikoura made our day ! cheers

It was a great afternoon on your boat.
We caught a lot of different fishs, so now we have fish for the next view days. We saw also seals, albatrosses and sharks, it was a great experience.

What a great trip...so good that we did it twice.
Caught more fish than we can possibly eat and had great fun doing it. Thanks so much guys for two great trips including the amazing scenery....the dolphins and seals were beautiful. I will recommend your trip to everyone we meet. Thanks again.

Just back from an amazing morning!
Had a fantastic time with Johnny and Kevin. Caught Cod, perch and shark! Also got crayfish which Johnny is cooking for us tonight. Great value and a great trip...a must!

Our trip this morning is something that we will remember for a long, long time.
Lisa caught her FIRST FISH! of her life straight away and we helped Jonny haul up crays. We saw seals, dolphins and albatross, and at the end of the day we had some great fresh fish and cray to eat. And best of all, Jonny showed us how we could cook it ourself at his wonderful hostel! Unbelievable experience, highly recommended! Thanks Jonny!

Awesome trip, I caught several sea perches and even a small shark which made my day - and I'd never held a fishing rod before in my life!
A really laid back experience, no commercial 'tourist' kind of feel to it at all, so I had a wicked time and definitely recommend the trip even if you think fishing isn't one of your hobbies! Even better still was to eat my own fish for dinner - lush! Thanks so much Johnny!

A fun trip and easy on the wallet.
As always we got heaps of fish, crays and seen all that Kaikoura has to offer. I'll be back! Stayed at Jonny's lodge as well. It was nice to be able to cook my days catch and enjoy some good company. Thanks again guys!

Great trip and great value for money!
Our first time fishing and was great fun, catching plenty of fish and crayfish! Jonny even cooked our catch for us when we got back to his hostel! Brilliant!! Thanks Jonny

We had a great time on a beautiful Kaikoura day complete with sun, snow, albatross and seals.

Excellent value for money!
Got to catch a heap of fish as well as crayfish too! Plus we saw a heap of marine life and amazing coastal views!! All our fish was cleaned and bagged and the captain was helpful and knew EVERYTHING about fishing and Kaikoura. Can't wait to go again next time i'm in Kaikoura!! Thanks Jonny and Andy!

An awesome fishing charter.
The most cost effective a s well. On our charter we saw the seals, dolphins, pinguens and the albatross birds. We then got crays from the pots and enough fish to feed 5 of us for a week. Thanks guys, one of the best charters I've been on. All the best.
We might not be the biggest charter in Kaikoura but we don't need the 'A Team' to vote us the best when we have reviews from great people like this! Thanks guys, we had a great time too :)
