Where do I begin?
We were a small group on the Fox II and had an incredible time: Roy and his crew were knowledgeable about flora, fauna and history of the area and eager to share!
We saw hector dolphins, seals, birds - up close and personal.
And… the history of Fox II: the icing on the cake!

Amazing day on Akaroa Harbour on 14th February 2022.
My friend who had never seen dolphins in the wild got a real treat when a large pod played around the boat and the owner stayed around in no hurry to move off. Wonderful staff and just a super afternoon out. This is the second time I have done the trip (Pat Cook)

Roy is caring for the wildlife and is very gentle in approaching the dolphins. Beautiful music.

Very friendly and funny staff, taking their time in really showing you everything and make you feel satisfied.

We enjoyed the tour, the guide was very enthusiastic, but we booked a sailing tour and we did 80 to 90% by motor.
It was too expensive for this.

Had fun sailing and seeing dolphins in Akaroa Harbour.
Even went out in the ocean, good talk by skipper and lots of other wildlife, saw penguins and seals as well. Great hot chocolate on the boat, the best I have had. Get on this boat, the others don't even leave the harbour. We saw them turning around and going back. The best tour in Akaroa by far.

This was by far the best trip I did in NZ.
Good history explaination, Full on dolphins follow the boat almost the whole time. We saw many birds and even a few albatross. Visited a seal group at the end of the harbour. Great sailing in the harbour and sea. Relaxing and fun, you have to do this when you go to Akaroa! Great free hot chocolate too.

We saw dolphins, seals, penguins, everything that had been promised and learned a lot about history of the Maori in that region.

Nice sailboat that attracts dolphin during the beautiful trip.
You can also see seal colonies, albatrosses and penguins up close. Really nice (free) home-made chocolate.

Good trip, but crowded boat and did not care much for the music.
It robbed the experience for me.

Fox Sailing themselves provided excellent trip and service.
Unfortunately ticketing service company (Red Balloon) were woeful. Better to contact direct.
