    Picked up from campsite, tour of town, good information, saw places that we would have missed.

    Oamaru penguins experience very good.

    I took a bus tour that went to the beach of the Yellow Eyed Penguin but had only 15 to 30 minutes there.

    I didn't see any because we needed more time to have a chance to see them at the right moment. For the little blue penguins, we really needed binoculars to see them properly and they didn't advise me about this when I booked.

    Very old bus, driver only knew it needed fuel because he got a phone call and then had to detour back to fill it up.

    The grand stand view to see the blue penguins was haphazardly organised - appeared overpriced. Our worst South Island experience.
