Good Museum although wasn't impressed with the curator.

Not the slightest bit interested in what we had to offer. They've had a few thievings so I would under no circumstances offer mementos to them.

Not knowing what to expect when we arrived and epecting to only stay half an hour, two hours later we left buzzing with what we have learnt from this experience.

Already we have decided to revisit. I would say that this experience is a must for everyone. The set out is brilliant, the staff awesome. The walk through history and the lessons learnt on our (NZ's) involvement in conflicts world wide and nationally is a journey well worth it. Don't drive past, experience this well set out National Army Museum

I wish we had had more time and had known what there was in the small, well laid out, interesting and moving museum.

We went to this because it was raining! We found information for our family tree and for my brother in law's family also.

It is informative and fun - geared at adults, historians, social history, and is child friendly too - I liked the humorous signs asking people to make sure their children did not harm the exhibits.

Gold stars all round and the Greenstone Memorial is extremely moving. We said a prayer for both the soldiers we found and general ones for them all.

    this is a small museum.

They have provided is a good though high level overview of the various eras of army deployment. The Tears on Greenstone memorial is very moving.

There is quite a good cafe on site also which is helpful and the gift shop has some great military books available. Staff at gift shop were very friendly.
