Only improvement would be less resource devoted to toys from the 1980s - I do not need a museum for that.

$25 entrance fee is quite expensive, if you can choose to go to Te Papa in Wellington, which is a lot better.
OK activity for a rainy day in Auckland. It is not very interesting.

Attractive layout and design of the shown topics. Multimedia equipment was great as was the do it yourself stuff. Expensive.

The 75 year Air New Zealand special exhibition is very good.
Sadly, the rest is not that good, and it costs money to enter for non-Aucklanders.
