Awesome trek.
Road up on top of Old Mans Rock so the views were fantastic. I am a fairly advanced rider and the horses were well maintained, treated and well behaved. One trek caters for all levels from beginner to experienced.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon.
Great hosts, good horses, awesome views and just a good around experience. The local iSite mucked up the booking, but the hosts were great and coped wonderfully. It was a real 1.5 hours of actual riding, which was great. I had expected the 1.5 hours to include some prep time, so again happy customer again... Well done all around.

Four hour track to a beach that is one of the 100 must sees in the world.
Just beautiful! And we even saw baby seals! Horses were just great!

I have ridden out several times with this Trekking company in Golden Bay and on every occasion have had a great time.
The guides are experienced - not just teenagers who want to go for a blast - and genuinely love the riding and the scenery, he Old Man Range is my favourite trek, probably the most scenic trek you could do in New Zealand and excellent value at $110 for 2 1/2 - 3 hrs in he saddle.

Great experience!
Friendly, well-run operation. Made you feel at ease (even a non-rider!) and clearly took care with matching horses and riders. Did an excellent job with a mixed ability group in difficult weather and the scenery was magnificent, especially the awesome Wharariki Beach.

Perfect location for a horse trek.
Friendly guide who was a good teacher for beginners and was able to keep everyone in a mixed ability group happy. Scenery was second to none.

Great fun - friendly guide and nice horses (very keen on cantering).
We did the combo-tour and enjoyed it very much even though the weather was grey and windy.

Lovely ride to an awesome beach.
Really nice sand horses and people. 3hrs is quite a long ride if you are not used to it,best to factor a few recovery days afterwards!! They do have shorter rides available.

This place is wonderful.
The treks were absolutely gorgeous, the horses were all friendly and suitably matched for different levels of riding experience and all the guides were great. It's a great experience for beginners to the most experienced of riders. Triangle valley/Old Man Range trek is amazing!
