Being in a wagon pulled by a tractor was pretty fun....
especially the fact that we were being driven through Cape Kidnappers and got to the Gannets Colony Reserve! Our guide was also knowledgeable not only about the gannets but also the rock formations and natural life around us. It was really enjoyable and for four hours, you totally got your moneys worth. Just make sure to bring lots of water, sunblock and food!

A fantastic fun adventure on the tractor enhanced by the very informative commentary, delivered with humour . Great walk to see the gannets nesting, before returning. So flexible too.. we were able to ride there on the tractor, and walk back. Can't recommend this trip high enough!!

Colin gave our group a very interesting trip out to the gannets, then was very flexible stopping and starting as most walked part or most of the way back.
He even kept those on the trailers dry with covers in a thunderstorm.

This tour was the highlight of our weekend in the Hawke's Bay.
It was excellent value for money and a really fun day, our tour left 4.30pm and we got back at 9.00pm. The tractors are a unique way to travel out to the Cape and enabled us to get great views of the cliffs and coastline. The guys driving the tractor have a good sense of humor and provide interesting information along the way. The walk at the end to the Gannets was well worth it, it was amazing to see these beautiful birds and their chicks. I would highly recommend you do this trip if you are visiting the Hawke's Bay.
