The staff was fantastic.

They were very quick and kind when replying to emails and phone calls. They were on time in picking us up from the airport and very patient and thorough in explaining everything about the camper van and instructions on where to drop it off at. We even had difficulties finding a dump station right before we dropped the van off and they were incredibly kind to help us out. Great people and a great company to rent from. The van was clean and had everything they promised it would have.

We had a perfect trip in New Zealand and realy enjoyed our Motorhome.

Enough Space for two, all you need daily on board and we were surprised how comfortable the bed is. When we received an incorrect engine error, the office assisted us by telephone and the error was rectified during a stopover. In addition, the laundry was changed, everything was replenished and a complete check was carried out. We had a wonderful time in our home on wheels - thank you Pacific Horizon for the pleasant trip!

Hi, we travelled around New Zealand for about 7 weken in a 2+1 campervan of Pacific Horizon.

The van funky met our wishes. The combination of comfort on the road and a complete interior was great. We are satisfied withe the van and service of Pacific Horizon.

We were very disappointed overall and our rental from Pacific Horizon negatively affected our experience of NZ.

While the staff were friendly, the vehicle had multiple issues which caused us to have to stop several times for repairs. Pacific Horizon would not provide the opportunity for us to switch vehicles in spite of multiple requests to do so. They indicated that their goal was to get us back on the road with as little interruption to our vacation as possible, rather than provide us with a reliable vehicle! Problems included complete malfunction of speed sensors causing loss of power and then uncontrolled acceleration. This required approximately 4 hours sitting at repair shop (until 10 pm), fusing of power cord to the vehicle due to an electrical short, and headlamp malfunction. And, no, they did not provide us wit!h any sort of discount to offset the stress and the lost time that the vehicle malfunctions caused. Would never use them again and would never recommend them

Wir sind jetzt schon ein paar Tage wieder zu Hause mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen und ganz besonderen Eindrücken.

Unseren Traumurlaub in Neuseeland im November/Dezember 2023 haben wir genossen und dies auch dank Pacific Horizon. Das Wohnmobil entsprach exakt unseren Vorstellungen und der Zustand hat uns eher positiv überrascht. Es war gut gepflegt, trotz des mehrjährigen Gebrauchs und es gab keine negativen Vorfälle. Der Service bei "Pacific Horizon" war einwandfrei. Die Übernahme des Campers in Christchurch wurde von Michelle durchgeführt. Unsere Sonderwünsche wurden sofort mit einem Lachen erfüllt. Außerdem hatten wir drei Mal mit Maryann in/bei Wellington telefonischen Kontakt. Geduldig und sehr freundlich beantwortete sie unsere Fragen und besuchte uns für die Klärung einer Frage prompt persönlich auf dem Stellplatz in Wellington. Sie hat uns damit sehr geholfen.

Die Rückgabe des Campers in Auckland verlief ebenfalls problemlos. Fynn, ein junger "Work and Traveller" aus Deutschland half uns bei den Formalitäten und brachte uns auch noch zum Flughafen.

Wir haben uns durch diese tolle Betreuung sehr wohl gefühlt und können "Pacific Horizon" bestens weiterempfehlen. Monika und Thomas aus Deutschland

We toured the North Island in July with our two college aged children and the SAM Motorhome was a great option for us.

We are all fairly tall, so the three large beds were key to us staying well rested. We cooked about half our meals and found the kitchen and dining room ample for our needs. The diesel heater was particularly nice for keeping us snug on the nights that got down to freezing temperatures. At one point, we had a tire with a leak and the PH staff arranged an appointment for us at a nearby truck service center, allowing the repair to be completed in less than an hour. This is a great company with lovely motorhomes and nice people.

We all had a truly wonderful time and a most memorable experience while touring around the beautiful South Island of New Zealand in the fabulous SAM Motorhome.

It is something we had all dreamt about doing for many years and it certainly lived up to our expectations.

I truly hope we get the opportunity to return for a second helping sometime in the not-too-distant future...and when that day comes a call to Pacific Horizon will certainly be the first call we make.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the staff from Pacific Horizon for helping to make such wonderful memories for my wife and her parents and of course for myself.

My wife and I rented the motorhome for 8 days to travel in the South Island and we had a great trip!

The motorhome worked well throughout our trip. The interior design was really nice (i.e. furniture, lighting etc.), even better than that of other popular brands on the market. The staff service was excellent and very helpful. This was our first experience ever with motorhome/campervan and we're glad that we chose Pacific Horizon instead of other brands. If we come back to New Zealand, Pacific Horizon would definitely be our option.

Well!

I can't praise this company enough. From dealing with Maryann who was incredible, the gentleman who was there when we picked up the unit and the other gentleman who was there when we dropped it off. We were in New Zealand from March 7th leaving on March 29th. We had rented a camper for our entire stay with pick up in Christchurch and supposed drop off in Auckland. Our initial rental was with KiaOra Campers (also outstanding). We were scheduled to cross on the Bluebridge ferry on the 21st but as luck would have it, our crossing was cancelled with no booking available in the foreseeable future. We decided to drive back to Christchurch and fly to Auckland where we would need another camper as we still had 8 days left of our holidays. Unfortunately, KiaOra did not have any campers available for us in the North Island but they recommended Pacific Horizon. Pacific Horizon scrambled to get a unit ready for us the following day, sent a car to come get us at the airport and made what could have been a nightmare a great experience!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this company and their staff. Would not hesitate to rent from them again and recommend to anyone headed down to Kiwi Land! Second time in New Zealand for me and I will be back!!!! Cheers!

Have twice hired motorhomes from these guys.

they are a smaller family firm so you get a friendly, efficient, personal service. The motorhomes have been spotlessly clean and any issues are swiftly rectified by their team. I highly recommend this company for your NZ adventure.

We just came back from our month touring around New Zealand in a Pacific Horizon campervan and we had the time of our life.

The campervan was modern, confortable and spacious. At the end of our trip, when we gave the keys back, we really felt like we were leaving our home. The Pacific Horizon staff was always very kind, helpful, quick to respond to our questions, (patient) and there was no surprise cost at the end of our trip. We highly recommend to book one of their campervans, we know we will next time we come to New Zealand.

My hubby and I hired a motor home for the first time to go around the South Island for 3 weeks.

We hired a 4 berth for more room. Our motor home was clean, modern , compfortable , and had everything we needed. The motor home was our home for 3 weeks and we loved the experience. We picked it up from Christchurch and the staff were helpful and friendly. Thanks Pacific Horizon, we would love to do it again.

We hired the motorhome during early Feb.

The service was excellent, responses to queries while we were travelling were knowledgable and prompt. The motorhome was reliable and went well. We would definitely hire from Pacific Horizon again.
