We used this company in the North Island.
The guides give great advice for backpackers walks etc & organise when/where to collect you. Discount on website.

Great trip!
Didn't have to worry about a thing as everything was taken care of. Drivers were brilliant and very funny. Magic takes you to all the best spots and has more options than the other companies I looked at.
Particulary good if you are short on time!

Some stops were a little random, but overall, well organised and a great way to meet people.
A little $$.

Great guides, but not all stops are necessary, guide sometimes the guides want to "sell" the attractions and that is a little stressful.
But after all a good tour and the price is okay!

We try only to give people the opportunity to experience the various Qualmark certified activities each area has to offer and they are entirely optional.

Standard of driver/guides varies, but the basic setup is good.
Allowing you to see small things you might miss between big events.

Good bus, some staff are not accomodating and lazy.
This can lead to it being disorganised. But, they do take you to good sights on the trip.

Stops at good places + tells you what you can do there/books activities, so good if not much time.
But only tells you about certain companies activities.

I'd like to have some more explanations about bookings and stuff.
Some magic offices were telling wrong information.

But the office of magic bus wasn't helpful when we had questions.
