Worth every penny. Helicopter up to the Glacier, three hours ice time hiking. Our guide was the best!

Staff were very helpful.
Unfortunately, the weather was poor so flying conditions and visibility were not great (white out so no landing).

One of the best way too expensive things we did in NZ.
The ride was nice and the guides were great. The scenery was SPECTACULAR!

This was expensive but really worth it.
We were worried about the weather but it turned out beautiful, what a place! Wear some sun screen even if you think you do not need it. WE visited the hotpools here as well in the evening and they were lovely

Heli Hike just fantastic.
Ride the chopper up and down the glacier, and 2 hours of ice walking. Very good!

Memorable experience!
Nine out of Ten only because the check-in process could be improved upon, but once we were checked in, the people, the equipment, and the experience were wonderful. The helicopter portion was shorter than I was hoping but the scenary was just fantastic! The actual hike guide was awesome, even though his mixed Chinese Kiwi accent was a hoot! Very knowledgable, and led us all on a great adveture through the ice!

This was mind blowing and awesome fun.
Best way to get some unreal scenery and respect for mother nature whilst perfect exercise. Definitely recommend and would do again in a heartbeat. Is a must for all ages.

For 2 fit people we could have walked around a bit more - the trip could have been maybe a bit more adventurous.

Did the heli-hike with a group of mates.
Pilot didn't introduce himself, just pushed an Offspring tape in to the stereo and give us the flight of a lifetime. (He was trying to scare us, but I was holding on tight with my arse-cheeks).
Oh, the glacier was neat to.

Totally fab, but i was told the helicopter ride was 10-15 mins each way.
It was more like 5 mins each way.
