Not worth the visit.
$10 to walk the bridge, jet boat closed, comet line closed, no offer of gold panning, tracks abit unclear at parts. Disappointing

It was great fun, also for kids (aged 5 and 8 years) walking the bridge.
The short walk on the other side was super too. Only minus is the sandflies.

The longest hanging bridge in New Zealand.
The bridge crosses a river directly into the rainforest, where visitors can learn about the flora and history of the region on a 20 minute walk. Entrance is approx $10NZD.

Swingbridge was cool, picnic area is dangerous for kids (old vehicle there), very aggressive sandflies, nice lady there.

The walk is nice, but you do not get the feeling when there as too many people.

But the walk in the forest on the other side is nice. Wear proper footwear.

We got the promised experience without being distracted by any frills.
The walks were energetic and immersing. Pricing lets you pick and choose your activity. Comet ride was a thrill - I would do it again and again and again.

Although included in our jetboat trip, $10 is overpriced for a small walk on the island even though you are crossing the largest swingbridge in New Zealand.

A walk on a swingbridge (that you can get for free elsewhere) and a bush walk.
In my opinion it is not worth it.

Very nice location. The bridge is swinging above the river. It is funny. The nice walks within the forest to understand plant species is something to do.

We did the swing bridge and loop walk.
It was good value. The swing bridge walk is exciting and gives a good view of the gorge, and the loop walk provides interesting information about earlier earthquake activity, floods, and gold mining history.

Had to do as longest - bit of fun walking across and could see jet boat and zip wire swings so plenty to see around the bridge.
Enjoyed walk and earthquake information, although did look a bit 'tired'. Same for cafe - no staff there so did not use it. Only $5 each though - but only suspension bridge.

Since you cannot really see the bridge before actually paying for it you are going in with higher expectations.
Just seems like a tourist trap. Would not recommend.

Don't pay more than $5 for the swingbridge - the rest is just not worth the money.
This area is a good example of overpricing - too bad most of New Zealand's fun activities are like that!!!!

The bridge itself is fun to cross. The walk on the island was disappointing.
