Lord of the Rings half day tour.
Mike, our guide is a big Lord of the Rings fan himself, showed us locations from the movie. Without him we could not have found them. He shared some funny and interesting stories about producing the trilogy.

Explorer Tour - 2 and a half hours, $40 tour.
Worthwhile taking such a tour if you are not in Wellington for long. Good guide.
